Remarks

The positive remarks are that it is a well established college, which is associated with many MNCs and domestic corporate Giants . So there are chances of receiving a very high package in the initial stage of the career too.

Course Curriculum Overview

3

The exams structure is very student friendy. Two semesters per year , making it a total of 10 semesters throughout the course completion. The semestes happen half yearly. College usually opens after the summer vacations in July and the exams are scheduled for nov-dec and the next semester in the month of apr-may. Depends on the Mumbai University's discretion.

Placement Experience

1

There are only a handful of internship opportunities provided by the College , while compared to other top law colleges the work of the placement cell in our college isn't up to the mark. Students usually use their contacts in the legal field to get internships.

College Events

3.5

There have been noticeable seminars and debates happening this year. Before that the interim principal tried his best but couldn't arrange events and seminars a law school should usually provide. There is a national moot competition which happens every year.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fees is very much feasible. It's around ?30k per year . So no worrying about paying of student debts

Fees and Financial Aid

There are scholarships available but I don't have much knowledge about them

Campus Life

3

There is a well equipped library , computer lab , moot Court hall and canteen. There is no auditorium or sports room . No recreational activities are available for student. However sports of various kind are played with the other departments of rizvi college.

Hostel Facilities

3.5

The hostel is quite far from the College, it isn't attached to the College itself.the rent is quite cheap with minimum amenities.

Alumni/Alumna

There is no such alumni organization of the college , no help from them to bring the new lawyers into the field in which they are already established. Also the seniors are busy interning so no help from them can be expected.

Admission

There is an state entrance conducted around in March known as mhcet law entrance. The entrance is out of 150 mark . Based on the marks scored and rank secured , the Maharashtra domicile certificate students have a lower cutoff marks comapred to outside Maharashtra candidates for admissions. Then the cutoff for OBC , STS and other quotas are very low , almost negligible compared to the extremely high cutoff of the general category students.

Faculty

4

Faculty for each subject is different. They only have one batch to teach to , so they provide their undivided attention. Mostly the faculty keeps changing, substitute teachers are hard to find , hence it becomes difficult when any faculty takes leave due to emergencies and the syllabus remains untaught.
