Remarks

We remember having a lot of free time between lectures. This may be termed as good and bad as well. Bad, because it wasted a lot of time. Good, because it gave us lots of time to socalize and play sports like cricket, sprint running, volleyball etc.

Entrance Preview

I took GCET and scored 248 out of 400. Rollwala is one of the top institutes in MCA in gujarat so I opted for it.

Course Curriculum Overview

Course structure is a bit old and not very practical in terms of industry needs. But whatever it is the faculty is very keen and able to teach it and the syllabus is very research oriented.

Internships Opportunities

We don't have any internships in Rollwala.

Placement Experience

Placement and job opportunites are good. It's not that the best companies come to rollwala but fairly medium compaines do visit us for placement.

College Events

This type of culture is almost non-existent. We stood up and forced our department to let us organize a tech fest. So in this regard our institute is a relatively new institute. But we sure are gonna catch up on this.

Fees and Financial Aid

It was a government institution and the course was covered by Grant-in Aid so we need not any scholarship.

Campus Life

Sports was good in our department. The University campus is awesome as it's very lush green, open and jungle type. Gender ratio is poor. 4,5 females to 20,22 boys. Labs were good if not the best.

Hostel Facilities

Hostel infrastructure is okay to say the least. Average rental for a hostel room is around a 1000 rs for 6 months which is almost for free. Mess food is a mess.

External Expense: Rs.2000 - Rs.4000

Alumni/Alumna

We have a very fine alumini network and all the seniors and alumini are very friendly if we tell we're also from that insitute.

Amazing learning journey which improved my programming skills

Likes

Supportive and knowledgeable faculties who explained concepts clearly and help students with their doubts and project
Good infrastructure and computer labs and classroom
Good opportunities to partit in campus events, technical activities, cultural activities and extracurricular activities

Dislikes

Exam time are some time not convenient which can make it difficult for students to manage prepration and travel
More industry oriented, line project could be provided
Some exams are scheduled at inconvenience time.

Placement Experience:

From semester 3 we are eligible for campus placement. Companies visited till now are Injala and Gateway group of company with package 4 LPA and 8LPA 70-80% students gets placed every year. My plan after getting degree to have a stable job and enjoy my life.

Exceptional Academic Journey with best and amazing Faculty

Likes

The teaching of faculties as they explain the concepts exceptionally
The academic environment is very positive and faculties are very supportive and helpful
The classroom and lab are well equipped with projectors

Dislikes

Timings during semester exam as it was taken in afternoon

Placement Experience:

From 3rd semester we are eligible for the campus placement. Companies visited are Gateway group of company, Injala and offers made are 8LPA and 4.5 LPA 70-80% students get placed. My plans after degree is to be stable in corporate world and be a good software developer.

Remarks:

Colloge is management is somehow rude to some students so please avoid the same for all. They have provide more facility to all the students.They have to started transpot facility for students as well as canteen facility also.
