Remarks

It is very good college, all the required facilities are available. Playground, labs, canteen, all are available. Ony the thing is that it requires ramp facility for the students who are physically unfit.

Course Curriculum Overview

3 years course. Regular basis. Final exam after each year. It is also necessary to take up pass subjects. They will not be added to honours marks. But necessary to qualify in the 2 pass course subject. Alos compulsory subjects available. Part 1 Bengali, part 2 English, part 3 environment science.

No such opportunities are provided by College. One have to do the course on his own. Then have to find jobs, part time jobs by his own. No such opportunities of internship is also available there. It is a general course college. Provides only degrees.

College Events

National youth day, College foundation day, NCC camps, Independence day, republic day, annual day, annual sports, exhibition, memorial lectures, different seminars on different subjects, football matches, Cricket matches.

Fee Structure And Facilities

As it is a government college fees is quite low compared to other self finance courses, one have to pay the admission fees, registration fees, exam fees. And tuition fees in two parts. One at the time of admission and other one in the last quarter of the academic session.

Fees and Financial Aid

College provide 1000/1500 rs to the ranked students in test exam. And other scholeship is also available there. They are provided by the college administration to the needy students for there academic purpose.

Campus Life

Football is the strongest part of our college. Apart from that NCC camps are organized, different dissertations, seminars, art and folk music, dances are practiced here. Now a days a food exhibitions are being organized by the college authority.

Hostel Facilities

No I didn't opted for hostel. Hostel infrastructure is very good. Food are fresh. And given in time. Morning and night meals are available. Library, cricket kits, volly kits, football kits are available, caram board facility is also available.

External Expense: Rs.2000 - Rs.4000

Alumni/Alumna

Yes. They are very helpful. But the thing is that no reunion is arranged. It should be arranged. But apart from that if any issues are taken to the authority they take care of that. And take the necessary steps.

Admission

Based on H.s marks, filled up admission form. There we have to Choose the subject want to take up. Then Merit list came out category wise. Went for documents verification. Paid admission fees. Got admission.

They are very supportive. Organized class test in every weekend. There is also two test exams. Pre test and test. And then final exam. Based on test marks and evaluation they arrange a program where the 1st ranked students are rewarded.

Likes

One of the things i liked the most was the quality of lecture given by the professors
The campus is very spacious the college has every facility
A fully equipted studio and lab for Journalism students

Dislikes

Things i disliked was the most has to be the locality the college is really nice but the locality is a bit shady

I always wanted to take up Journalism as a career and the thing which caught my attention in this college is that they have a fully equipted studio room and other colleges may have one but the students even publish there own news report here it prepars us very well for the real world

My Experience at Jaipuria to summed it up.

Likes

Quality education and an academically enriching environment. Most importantly, well- versed professors.
Extra- curriculum activities, along with an active sports cell and NCC, and usually various opportunities to participate in Inter-College Competitions.
Well maintained gym with separate timings for girls and boys. The canteen offers a wide variety of foods at an affordable price.

Dislikes

For my department, there was no educational excursion.
Negligence internship opportunities are available for my course.
Only some placement opportunities are available, and companies like TCS and Wipro came up for campus placement.

Course Curriculum Overview:

My passion and a bit of curiosity in International Relations led me to choose this course. The curriculum, in fact, prepared me well for further academic pursuits. For improvement, educational excursions and internship opportunities should be made available. The exam is held twice a year on semester basis, with papers set at a moderate to difficult level.

A balanced view of campus life and learning

Likes

The English department has experienced and supportive teachers. Most professors explain concepts clearly and encourage discussions, close reading and critical thinking.
The course is very affordable, especially compared to private colleges. With scholarships, it becomes accessible for students from middle and lower income backgrounds.
The college has a friendly and diverse student crowd. The girls to boys ratio is balanced with slightly more female students, which creates a comfortable learning atmosphere.

Dislikes

The infrastructure needs improvement. Classrooms and common areas could be better maintained and modern facilities are limited.
There are very few placement opportunities for arts students.
Although some academic events take place, extracurricular activities and active student societies could be improved for better campus life.

Placement Experience:

There are limited on campus placement opportunities here, especially for Arts and Eng Hons students. Most students focus on higher studies, competitive exams or off campus opportunities after graduation. The college provides basic guidance through teachers but formal placement drives are rare.

Ramakrishna Mission Vidyamandira: A Life Changing Experience

Likes

The college has an ideal atmosphere for studying and the hostel accommodation allowed for close bonding with seniors who helped us out in studies as well as personal matters. The teachers are extremely talented and treated us with care and respect.
It is an all boys college and it is without any doubt a ragging-free campus. There is anti-ragging cell as well as student councelling cell available on the campus to help out with these issues.
The experience of hostel life and the close sense of community that is formed during my stay has been instrumental in my growth and the strict implementation of discipline in our daily lives enriched me and changed my life for the better.

Dislikes

The administration is not always the best. Applications, forms, seminars and event permits all required a long time to get approved by the authorities as most of the time it meant compromising our strict schedule as it is a residential college.
The average food quality in the mess could be better. Again it is not always the best but for the most part it is decent.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum provides a comprehensive retrospective of literature from the Old English period to Modern period, while also including English works by Indian authors to demonstrate the diversity and evolution of English literature over the years. The current curriculum I believe requires more seminars and lectures from guest faculties on contemporary research and topics.

Likes

I really like the environment of our college .
And the brilliant and talented professors with phed
And the friendly nature of the people in the college

Dislikes

The unavailability of the boys hostel in our college .
No bigger playground to play ...as there is only volleyball court to play .
The toilet facilities are not poorly managed .

I really liked geography as a subject for learning and exploring as it includes fieldwork , surveys and excursion which enhances our mind and experience in our life and this way we have many opportunities to learn new things in our life which is helpful for our future purposes. The only improvements I would like to note that to improve the toilet facilities and placement opportunities.
