University College of Science

The college is a mixture of everything. It is upto the student to choose the way he wants. It is not an exception to other colleges. Both virtue and evil coexist in the atmosphere here and one must be wise enough to choose his path.

The exam consists of about 200 marks. The questions can be asked from various streams separately. The candidate appearing for the exam must be thorough with the Telangana state curriculum, without which it is difficult.

The placement cell in the campus is operational and conducts many placement drives which are attended by various companies. The college also provides internship opportunities where the stipend can range from 5000-14000.

The events are mostly of State prominence. In addition to these sports meet, cultural meet, inter-college competitions, etc are conducted. The sports meet is an event where one can gain a lot of exposure by meeting people from different colleges.

As it is a state run instituition the fee structure is feasible and affordable for every section of the society. In addition to this, scholarship is also provided by the state of Telangana to the students belonging to different backward communities.

The State of Telangana offers scholarship to the below poverty line families belonging to the scheduled caste, scheduled tribes, backward and minority communities, In addition to these, one can also avail scholarships from different nationalised banks too.

They are worth speaking. The labs are well equipped and offer students a wide range to experiment. The campus is equipped with 8 playgrounds where one can have fun, stay fit and prepare oneself to university, state and national events.

The hostels are not luxurious but do provide comfort. They are spacious with a room for good flow of air. The atmosphere is good. The lawns. gardens and libraries around make it a more liveable place.

Yes, they are helpful. Many notable alumni hail from this instituition and are ready to help whenever someone wants to learn something from them. They are caring, supportive. The bonhomie here is worth appreciating.

One has to appear for an entrance exam called OUCET. The results are taken as the criteria for selection into various courses. The exam is conducted for various streams separately. The arts stream decides the entry into arts college and science for science colleges

The faculties are doctorates in their respective subjects. They are keen about teaching and drive children also towards research.The labs are well established as they are funded by the UGC, SAP and other bodies.
