Remarks

It's a good college overall performance is good but in terms of placement our college needs to bring lots of MNC company in future.

Entrance Preview

I have selected this college through Anna University counselling (its based on how much cut off mark we score in 12th exam and my cut off is 172.25) even you can get seat directly through management quota.

Course Curriculum Overview

ECE department faculty are good there are more experienced staff for most of the subject for few subject only new staff are there I suggest to go with this college for ECE.

Internships Opportunities

Internship is offered to some students and students selected based on their performance on university scores. But everyone can get this opportunity in final year for doing internship projects only limited number of projects are allowed for internship those who needs internship they have to approach the concern staff as soon as notification published in notice board.

Placement Experience

In placement you can expect BPO not MNC college needs to bring lot of company our college has lot of tieup in local BPO company but in future our college will bring.

Lots of events organized in this college like department function (symposium,junior meet,farewell,conference) and college events sports day,annual day,convocation day,hostel day.

Fee Structure And Facilities

For counselling students fees is good and its followed based on university rule and for management fees is higher. Hostel fees is slightly higher but its common in Engineering college.

Yes scholarship and Loan are offered even religious based scholarship offered to some students even college helps in getting loan to concern student.

Campus Life

The overall performance was good,extracurricular activities are really too good, mainly our department (ECE) support huge development in robotics based projects and also encourage students to actively participate in debates,group discussion. Every Saturday half of the session is allocated to students to actively participate in extracurricular activities as well as in projects. The male and female ratio is nearly in the ratio of 4:6,In religious views everyone is equal no political or special religious person are treated in special way,if student request they can get some permission for wearing cap(only for Muslim students.In study this college performance is well in university lots of university rank holders are there.

Hostel Facilities

I stayed two years in my college hostel no problem with the food and facility is good and hostel is located back of college only it takes 2 minutes to reach classroom from hostel but women hostel is 200 meter away from college.

External Expense: Rs.2000 - Rs.4000

Alumni/Alumna

Seniors are really good no ragging in college seniors helped during exams too. Still many seniors are friends with me and helped during my final year project alumni network is also good.

Exam Structure

Exams and labs are good,lab classes maintained in good manner. Exam structure is followed based on Anna University rules and lab classes too. Based on performance of internal test internal mark is calculated and for attendance 5 mark is awarded in univers

The placements are very decent and they provide internships as early career opportunities as well in 3rd year of studies and the college possess high conversion rates through these internships which support the resume with actual corporate exposure

Here there is no gender separation like boys and girls should be seperate and stuff like that.
It is a autonomous college so courses are changing regularly with the shift in education
Here we have relative grading system therefore there is no ranking and easy to get good grades

Dislikes

We have to pay yearly fees not semester wise it difficult for low income earning families
Money is collected from students for all events happening in the college.
There is a rush for collection of fees at the start of each year and unpaid students might face absent issues

Placement Experience:

Campus placements are moderate but i don't know much about other courses but for civil engineering the average placed ctc is 3 lakh per annum one or two students got higer package but most of the students got lower package as a fresher.

From 5 th semester onwards students are eligible for campus placements. Lots of companies. The highest package is 26 lakhs and the average package is 1.5 lakhs. 98% of students get placed. Doing my best in a career as an entrepreneur.

Life At SNS COLLEGE OF ENGINEERING

When I approached many reputed Institutions in coimbatore Minimum they askes for about 10 lakhs of donation and fees didn't include. Fees was the major obstacle why i didn’t choose other reputed college. When i reaches other college they were not up to standards and placement was very poor.
