Remarks

Our college has a great atmosphere where students can explore the student community within our college and get to know many people. The students can also pursue their other interests as well in the college as there are many clubs and associations. The negative is that the students are not exposed to the outside of the college much as they lack the exposure that other college students have and the ability to mingle with other people and speak publicly.

Course Curriculum Overview

3.5

The course curriculum is quite basic and easy to be honest. The curriculum is designed such a way that the students are to learn concepts in the basic level and the practical studies are also basic and the industry level knowledge is not given to the students. The curriculum can be better and help students in their own industry while entering the company itself as a fresher rather than learning it in the company after joining. The exam structure is that there are two CA exams which are internal exams and there is one CE, the semester exams. The same is for the practical exams as well.

Placement Experience

4

The placement and job opportunities are good since our college has a good reputation for a long years, big companies are interested to pick our students as their employees. There are some companies who offer internship programme like Goldman Sachs for students of 2nd year students and offer job when then student completes the course if he/she performs well. I don't know what the stipend is for the internship though.

College Events

3

There are many events in our college conducted by various departments of the college. The clubs and associations also conducts competitions and other events for the students. The most popular events are 'Heartbeat'- intra college competitions for unaided students,'Wizards'- intra college competitions for aided students, 'Euphoria' - inter college competitions for unaided students,'Cas Call' - inter college competitions for aided students.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fee structure was feasible when I joined the college but now it's quite expensive. Previously we were supposed to pay the fees annually but now they have changed it to semester wise and we don't know why.

Fees and Financial Aid

There are scholarship available for the first degree students in their family and many other students as well. There are scholarship available for students of lower community as well. They will have to apply for it and satisfy the requirements for getting the scholarship.

Campus Life

3

Sports is quite good especially basketball and football games have separate coach and they train everyday. Labs are quite normal and satisfies all primary needs. The other clubs and associations for music, dance etc. are not given that much importance and help to improve the students interested in those activities.

Alumni/Alumna

The Alumni network is a huge one and they are helpful through our faculties. If any help required we can approach our faculties and through them we can contact the alumni students. Most of the alumni are in high job posts and some are entrepreneurs as well.

Admission

The students have to get the admission form before a week of their 12th results. The admission form is available both online as well as in our college. The students are then expected to come to college on the result day and apply for their preferred course. The admission forms will be collected and then the students will be called for admission in the following days according to the marks they have scored and first 30 or 20 merit students have to just pay the first years fees and the other students have to pay management fees separately while joining the college which can also be called as donation.

Faculty

4

The faculties of our college are good and each faculty differs from their teaching qualities to the student - faculty relationships. Some of the faculties are really knowledgeable and help students to be better version of themselves. Some faculties just teach what they learn about the syllabus and don't have deeper knowledge on the subject. Most of the faculties treat the students very well and the class room atmosphere will also be good!

Course Curriculum Overview:

It covers all core Chemistry subjects with good lab work. I chose this course for strong academics and research scope. The syllabus helps for higher studies and competitive exams like NET, SET. Practicals help in real applications. Exams are held each semester. Difficulty is moderate and most students clear easily,More workshops and industry training can be added for improvement.

There is one end semester exam and 2 CIAs in one year.Endsem is for 100m and CIAs are 40marks each . There is one assignment for each CIA for 10m each. So totally both the CIA together is 100 marks. Then the average of CIA and end semester is calculated if 40 or above it's pass otherwise you have to reappear. The subjects are not at relevant as computer science keeps changing regularly.
