Entrance Preview

I took jee main entrance examination. I got admission here through counselling during counselling this college was allocated to me.

Internships Opportunities

Internship experience was quite good. I had attended the robotics prograame organized by the college in my first year. Also there was a recent seminar organized by infosys. In second year an internship programme was organized by IIT khargpur in our college.

Placement Experience

2.5

Almost 90% of the student got placed this year. The statitics were quite good last year i.e in 2014 abot 95% student got placed. Some companies which visited here were infosys, tech mahindra, pilot industries etc. Infosys offered package of 3.25lacs were as the package for pilot industries were 2.80 lacs.placement oppurtunities from this college is good for CSE, EEE, ECE branch.

College Events

Every year one week is celebrated as college festival in which two day are for annual sports a correct platform for the students to shoe their atheletic ability. All these are being organized by students. Also there is some DJ night organized by college on the eve of diwali, ganesh chaturthi etc.

Fees and Financial Aid

I took SBI education loan for my studies and in availing the loan. I hadn't face any problem. Scholarship depend upon state as bihar gives different scholarship and jharkhand different

Campus Life

Campus life is more than awesome .gender ratio ratio is also quite good except in mechanical. Overall college gender ratio is good.competition is being organized by our college from time to time recently there was a quiz and debate competition on the eve of engineer's day and again a notice is out that there will be a debate on the event of gandhi jayanti.

Alumni/Alumna

Alumni network is quite good as every year. alumni student give a visit during college fest. I had met some of the alumni and meeting with them had benefited me lot.

Decent faculty and top tier placements, just follow the rules

Likes

I like the vibe of the canteen and greenery around my college

Dislikes

I don't like 75% attendance and the strictness of the faculty members

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum is now updated since it became a University, so its more relevant to industry now but still we have to do extra courses for coding. Exams happen every few months—2 internals and one end-sem. They are not very easy, you actually need to study to pass without backlogs

The infrastructure of each campus in the college is very pretty and it's a green campus
The classrooms are well equipped with WiFi, Smart-boards for digital education.
Also travelling from one campus to another has been made easier as buses and golf carts are provided to students

Dislikes

The crowd of students here is too much which feels too much chaotic and disturbing .
The hostel management here as they don't give importance to the major issues here.
The hostel mess food. The quality is degrading day by day

Placement Experience:

The placements of my college is good. This year 75% of the students are already placed with an average package of 8LPA . The highest package till now for this year is 22LPA. Many companies have visited for the placements and 100+ offers have been made. Companies like BNY, Infosys, Deloitte, Accenture, Capgemini, Cognizant, Bain& Company, High Radius, TCS, EY, PWC and many more of them have visited the campus.

DRIEMS UNIVERSITY review after 5 year of frustrating experience legacy will be continued ????....

Likes

The college campus greenery and campus cleaning management are doing really very well that is the only good part but that doesn't matter much for your career.
⭐⭐There is nothing good to mention about this college after going through all the procedures from taking admission to degree,I regret and many of my friends also regretting taking admission into this college.⭐⭐

Dislikes

They have a good well maintained cricket ground but students are never allowed there only for commercial purposes and to attract new joinee.
Staff and management are very helpful and polite only till admission done.🥲.
Hostel food quality is extremely unhigenic, no one takes responsibility after many complaints also.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Course curriculum was very classical , too much theory oriented for placement point of view they will provide last 1 month or 2 months training for aptitude part rest for technical you have to study on your own.

They conduct exam in very smoothly manner

Dislikes

Need to improve administrative building while submitting fees many students face problem
Lab session of some subjects are too long which is around 3 hrs which need to reduce for atleast 2 hrs

Placement Experience:

Placement opportunities in my college are good, with students generally becoming eligible for campus placements from the pre-final or final year, depending on the course and company criteria. The college has an active placement celll that supports students by Organizing training sessions, resume building and also mock interviews.

Campus Chronicles

I chose this college because it aligned with my academic interests, offered a vibrant campus life, and provided excellent career opportunities. The faculty's expertise in my field of study and the availability of research opportunities were major deciding factors. My college is located in a city with ample internship and job opportunities. Some other colleges were in remote areas with fewer prospects for networking. For some competitive colleges, I fell short on specific criteria such as standardized test scores or extracurricular achievements. In hindsight, I could have prepared earlier or gained more relevant experiences to enhance my application....Read More
