Remarks

The only negative thing is our college is super strict in attendance factor. If we don't have 75 percentage of attendance, it will be a year back. There is no compromise on that. According to me, it will have to make 60 percentage.

Course Curriculum Overview

4

The course is divided into 6 semester. On each semester you have a Semester Exam. And on each 3 months there would be Mid Semester Exam. And the result will be published within two months on the college website. The course contain both theoretical and practical sessions and also a final project will be there for every Semester.

Placement Experience

3.5

Our college have a good connection with the Placement and Job concepts. They provide certain orientation sessions with the companies and interview session following that. Mostly Art's and Commerce students get placed in end of academic year. Our college doesn't provide any direct internship program.

College Events

3.5

Our college give a good interest in events and fest. Allura is a fest based on our department of Visual Communication. And Visages is a college fest, which participate the college students itself. And Prathibha is the inter college fest which the other college students also participate.Like that, Neerathon, Meraki, RNFF, Mediacon, etc are few of them.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Fee structure is affordable. It will depend upon the course. We have to pay the fees on yearly. That is, 3 years. For my course it was 70K in one year. Like that it will vary upon each course. For Science students it's under 50K

Fees and Financial Aid

I don't know about it. But the college is allowing student loan from the College linked Bank, South Indian Bank. Also, college provide certain scholarship for Christians and socially backwards students.

Campus Life

4.5

College have sports day in every semester. On that day, students wear same T-shirts which represents the course or class. Also, labs are good and professionally maintained. Lab assistants are there for on each labs to look after it.

Hostel Facilities

3.5

Both Boys and Girl's Hostel is there. Boys hostel is good and much more facilities are there. But Girls hostel is not well in case of food and space. The rooms are very small and not vary spacious. Even the rent is also very higher. Don't have proper amenities.

Alumni/Alumna

Seniors and College alumni are nice and super cool. They are very helpful and they always motivates us on every things. They are the most supporting factors in the college. They helps in our projects and works too.

Admission

I wrote the Entrance exam based on the course and they announced the result that day itself. After two days they called for the interview session. A team of three people interviewed me on the basis of arts and cinema. And then I got selected.

Faculty

4.5

The faculties are good and friendly. On each department there will be a head of faculty to help the other teachers. They guide students as well and they help in every department festival. And even the faculties have fest too, they are super active in every thing.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The BA English curriculum at the Central University of Karnataka is comprehensive and academically relevant. The course covers British Literature, American Literature, Indian Writing in English, Literary Theory, Linguistics, and Cultural Studies, providing students with a strong foundation in language and literature. The interdisciplinary approach under NEP and the availability of electives were among the factors that influenced my decision to choose this course.

Placement Experience:

The university does have a placement team which faculy and student led. Studnets become eligible for placements towards the end of their fourth year - last semeter. Approximately 100-150 NGO's come to campus for recruiting. The university does not promote private firms for placement but students can apply indivitually. The average pay is 20 Lakh per year. Many students after undergraduation opt for higher studies, so is my plan. But most of the master's students opt for placement and 98% - 99% get placed into NGO in top positions. I plan to pursure a masters degree after my undergraduation, preferably in economics.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I selected BA(English) course. Because I was quite good at English that's why I chose it. And I still Didn't go to college. Because our class starting date didn't announce by the college (Kittel arts college, Dharwad). That's why I have no idea about teaching staff and facilities. Of course, I hope it will be the best that I heard about this (kittel arts college, Dharwad) college. I heard only positive comments about this college.

Placement Experience:

In the final year students become eligible for placements and we have placement cell also. In 2nd year only we have attended 2-4 news channels interview and training. But due to pandemic, we didn't attend placements and all. And our seniors to didn't attend for placements because they are interested in higher education. So the percentage of placements is not clear, but for us, they prepared fully to attend any type of job interviews and also to handle all juniur of news channel and newspaper.
