Good College

College is really good. Just the need is to make its curriculum more industrial-friendly so that the graduated students will find it more easy to mke it in the outside competitive environment. And also the infrastructure (which is now been building) needs to be developed fast.

The curriculum is good. But it needs to be updates according to the need of the industry. Because the demand of the industry is something else in the current scenario and college need to integrate that in the curriculum. The exam structure is Two internal Exam and one End Semester Exam for each Semester.

The placements are good. The Industrial hub in Pune helps in this regard. Many companies come to the college for placements as well as internship. Good Companies like Microsoft offer internship of upto Rs. 1 Lakh also. Also the package offered by the company to the recruits is quite good.

Mind Spark - The Technical Festival of College Of Engineering, Pune which is in the odd semester each year. Reggata - The annual Boat Club Event. Impressions - The cultural Festival of College Of Engineering, Pune. Then there are always many seminars and guest lectures going on which helps in overall building of a student. Also events like Navratri, Makar Sankranti, Holi are celebrated.

As it is a Government college, so the fee structure is quite feasible. Moreover of the candidate belongs to category then their are scholarships and freeships also. For others, there are scholarships from the college also.

Their are many scholarship from the alumni and also from various companies. Also there are scholarships by faculties which are generally refundable. The Government Of India scholarship/freeship, Post-Matric Scholarship, etc given by the government are available. College gives scholarships like Siemens Scholarship, Vinod Doshi scholarship, etc.

There are a lot of clubs like Science Club, Astronomy Club, Cultural Club, Maths Club, History Club, etc. So the students can take part in them according to their interest. Also the labs are quite updated and are available for the students who want to use them with prior permission

The senior students are super cool. They become your family after some time. They are helping. They will help in anything, be it academic or be it personal. People soon gets a personal bond with their seniors.

The admission process is through the MH-CET exam based on the merit. To get into the college you need to clear the exam with good grades as it is the top college of Maharashtra. After exam you need to fill form which contains the options for college and branch.

The Faculty is good. Some of the faculty teaches very nice. They will even help you in your personal life if needed. In overall, it will depend on what kind of teachers may come to the class. Because some of the faculties are new.
