Remarks
All over college approach is positive from fellow students to faculty members. No matter from what background a student came, no one will feel inferior. One can mark my word. One negative side which I want to introduce in house canteen should be more economic.
Course Curriculum Overview
There are 4 years consist of 8 semesters. University focused upon theory as well as practical. On last year college will provide grooming classes so you could be industry-ready. As well as there are extra classes before campusing
Placement Experience
As per my knowledge, they do provide internships with big names like SAP. But I have no idea about internships. But placement they almost do provide more than 80% placement with big giants like TCS, IBM, Deloitte, Capgemini, Microsoft etc. And small startups also. They almost bring 40+ companies
College Events
There are a number of cultural, technical, and sports events held throughout year. Anakronos Edge InspirIt And much more Anakronos is a cultural event Edge is a event that's include sports as well as technical event.
Fee Structure And Facilities
Fess structure is different for two different universities. MAKAUT and Techno India University As per my point of view MAKAUT is feasible and worthy. But there in house university is on the expensive side.
Fees and Financial Aid
I personally completed my study with a scholarship facility called as TFW. Its almost waive 98% of course fee. It's a scholarship provided by the government. But there are also provisions for loan and scholarships from the college administration. And one will get full support from them.
Campus Life
This college will provide facilities of extracurricular activities which gonna nurture and nurrish individual interest. For sports, it's a win-win deal. They could apply for a college team and its going to benefit them at placement as many companies looking for good players who can represent the company team. Labs are pretty good and equipped with all modern technology and knowledgeable facilities.
Hostel Facilities
As I am local I have never opted for hostel. And as per my knowledge there is no in house hostel facilities. But there is plenty option of pg and flats in a pocket friendly prices. As its located over the heart of kolkata so no in house hostel wouldn't be a problem.
Alumni/Alumna
Yes, department wise one or two events would organize so millennials can communicate with the alumni. And they can take inspiration from their success stories as well as took lessons from there own failures.
Admission
Appeared to in JEE West Bengal then Counseling. Then you need to apply online for different courses. There is also an option for scholarships like TFW. I entered as TFW. After that I needed to submit the admission fees
Faculty
College faculty are quite capable. I want to name few faculty members of IT department. Subhomita Mukherjee and Dr Piyal Sarkar. They not only help you as curriculum but also they will help you as to grow as good human beings.
