Remarks
My university is located in West Bengal and it has a huge campus so that the students can get actively involved in various kinds of activities. Also there is a separate hostel for boys and girls that offer proper electricity, water and sanitation facilities to the students.
Placement Experience
The Training and Placement Cell at my college plays an important role in placing the students. Since 2009, the Placement Cell is offering various training to the students especially to the students doing computer related subjects. All my seniors are placed in good companies.
Fee Structure And Facilities
I am doing my BCom from the University and I found the courses fee quite affordable. . It is good Indian university and I liked my university very much, also there are various facilities provided to the students like me so that the learning can become easier.
Alumni/Alumna
Since West Bengal University is a reputed university so here the students from different places come to study different courses. Regarding anti-ragging policy, my college has made it mandatory for all students to sign and submit anti ragging related affidavits at the time of admission so that all such kind of activities can be minimised.
Admission
IN order to apply for a UG course at West Bengal State University, the students have to pass the Higher Secondary (10+2) or its equivalent examination with the required percentage to apply for the admission. The admission is granted on the basic of merit list, though there is also an entrance test while applying for some courses at the university.
