Internship SBI Capital Markets MUmbaiIn the campus for internship not many companies visited the campusThrough corresponding defence personnel who study MBA with us was able to convert a lead in SBI capital markets for an internshipStipend was not offered. But being with top equity analyst of the country was indeed a learning experience.

Placements in PUMBA is very good .Being one of the most reputed government B schools lots of companies visited the campus.Some of the prominent amongst them were TCS 5.2-6.5 LPAInfosys 6.5-7.5 LPAChrisil 5-5.5 LPAAC Nelson 6.5 LPABank of Baroda 5.5 LPAI myself was the placement co ordinator In total out of 120 eligible candidates around 100 got placed.

The biggest college festival is the annual college festival- Dhruv. With each passing year we get a chance to host the B Schools throughout India and witness some spectacular skills and flairs of students, and also get a chance to network with the best. These events are organised in a grand manner and students from through the country attend the same .Particiaption easily exceeds 1000 during the festivalEvents under this festival have been divided into Management,Cultual and Sports events1) Management events Cultual events Drama Karaoke Dance ) Sports Events Cricket Football Carrom Tug of War Volley Ball Table Tennis Chess Basket ball Badminton.

PUMBA being inside Pune University has very few seats reserved for Hostel.Hence most of the candidates have to stay outside the campus.PG fees vary widely from 3k per month to 7k per month depending upon the faciilites provided. Transportation an issue inside the campus so own vehicle is a necessity. But inside the hostel facilities are just ok but cheap Twin sharing room ,cheap food but quality was just ok.

Since it being a government college Fees very reasonable is 65 k per year Scholarship is available for reserved categories Also easily student loans are provided by the Bank for this course.

Campus PUMBA is located in 414 acres of lush green surroundings of the Pune UniversityThe major facilities are six well-equipped classrooms, 12 syndicate rooms for modular learning, wi-fi enabled campus, computer dome with 90 P-IV IBM computers etcGender ratioTotal intake of program 180 Gender ratio highly skewed in favor of boys Diver sity People from different parts of the country and international students were enrolled for the program .Extra Curricular activitiesThe Institute has Separate Placement Cell/Cultual Cell,Entrepreneurship cell,Seminar Cell,Media Cell,Alumni Cell which conducts various activities like Seminars, Workshops, Meets, etc. in coordination with the other student bodies.This helps the students in keeping themselves updated with the recent happenings in the Industry. Pune being an educational hub participation in various events of different colleges helped in imbibing a competition spirit and over all development of the students skills.

The institute was founded in 1971 and hence enjoy a large network of alumni A dedicated student's body ie Alumni cell is looking for regualr Alumni ceoonect and inviting them to the campus for various workshops and knowledge dissemination Alumni's and seniors are very friendly and are providing constant mentor ship for the students reaching out to them. My interaction with Alumni network has been a lot since i was the placement co ordiantor and they guided me in pursuing various courses along with MBA for presenting a strong candidature in the industry.
