I appeared in UP state entrance examination 2007 and scored 654 rank. I opt this because I can not get Electronics in HBTI at this rank and I want Electronics only (actually my father want me to take this branch now I m regretting my past decision.

Course curriculum was somewhat good but a big no to research candidate, beacause here no good facility for that and teachers are horrible, they know nothing so we have to do by ourselves only. Each year two semesters but what I feels that any B.tech guy can pass his 4 year course in one year (because we only read during exam time) so nearly 15 days in one semester and rest we do bc.

No any internship, if u consider mtech stipend as internship then it was. How to complete 100 words because there was no any internship in our good college. For internship we have to go any company or any other institutions. However some of my seniors gone foreign for internship.I also wanted to go because it looks like fashionable but English problem so didn't applied, some of my colleagues applied but didn't got.

But placement was better if anyone want to go in IT sectors then there were lot of good company like TCS, Tech Mahindra, Adobe, Mediatek, HCL and many more. For core branches it was little unsatisfactory.Placement is about 70%. I also appeared in written examination of TCS and qualified (only because of tricks and tips) but they nailed down me in interview they asked me computer and little C and Java and till date I hate these words. Package for TCS ,TeckM, HCL and other software companies have almost similar and about to 3.5L per annum.But company like Adobe have package around 8-9L but in my batch no one got , my seniors are there .Mediatek has also good package arround 8L and almost 5-6 guys from my batch ( mostly from Electronics ) selected.Companies like Adobe and Mediatek have higher grades demand and I am a medium grade guy merely passed around first class and they need 70% throughout, so most of people selected as unselected earlier before any exam.

In the name of events it's very sad when I was in first year then there was a event (sports meet) named as TVARAN (Once in 3 years) and same event didn't happen in my final year. And also we didn't got our farewell party because when we given this party to our seniors then at time there was a heavy fight between us (3rd year students) for ice cream.

Fee structure at that point of time quite affordable around 35k. And there was a government scheme that if your father's income is less than one lakh then u can avail almost total refund of your fees so most of the taken the advantage of this scheme including me too.

No loan offered, May be I didn't need that's why I don't know. But, as earlier I said, there was a full fee refund by state government so weak people like me used this scheme. And there was no loan or scholarship offered by our college.

Campus life is awesome however my college being in a small city but our college life awesome. We never feel like we are in a small city. As u all know all girls (pretty specially) go for medical, only rest of girls come to engineering so it is quite obvious that gender equality will not be there too arround one fourth girl was in my branch but branches like civil and mechanical even lesser. And yeah time to time there were workshops but most of guys avoid it including me. But in my college there was total hormony between all people expect some teachers have some biasing factor but that can be ignored. There was very little politics in my college in environment of my college was always a very positive point for all. And there is a cricket sport held twice in year in our hostel only named as Six A Side this is very very intresting game we all love this. And one cricket event which was mix type I mean boys and girls play together and having fun. Yeah some guys were interested in robot so they use to do some activities.In some functions there were some discussion but not like debate.

Hostel was not up to the mark but above average but in first year we had share 3-4 guy in single room in early days it was difficult to be room partner with strangers but after some time and later years we all wanted to be in a single room.But students ma

In my college alumni association is very highest level.In my college all students are very hard working that's why they sooner or later they got very good job and almost one fourth in foreign so they always intended to help their juniors in any aspect. In my college there is very strong bond between juniors and seniors along with alumni.
