Harini's review on Sri Ramanujar Engineering College

My overall experience was good. There are many positive things and few negative things like placement and infrastructure which has to be improved.

Course curriculum is according to Anna University.Exam structure is according to semsters and it is conducted six months once. Other than semester exams, periodical tests are conducted regularly to make students score better by clearing all subjects in semester exams.

They arrange few campus drives. Few core companies come with moderate salary. They give training for aptitude test and interpersonal skills.Four rounds aptitude, group discussion, technical HR, personal interview for salary package discussion.

In our college events like Fresher's day, farewell day and college fest is conducted once in four year. Also events like pongal celebration, culturals, sports day and many other important days are conducted every year. Many competitions are conducted periodically other than academics.

Fees structure is same as specified by Anna university for all the colleges affiliated to it. Fees structure is feasible. In my opinion the fee structure is feasible for everyone to join in this college. It is affordable by everyone. And also students can get consession fee amount by scholarships.

There is scholarship for every students who opted SREC through counselling based on their castes. Educational loan can be availed through any standard banks who are willing to provide with the help of the bonafide certificate issued by the college.

It was a overall good experience. Labs in my college are good with all the equipments. We can learn practically in the lab. They also conduct debates and other activities. Coming to the sports we have football basketball and volleyball courts and we have indoor games.

Our college would conduct alumni meets and yes the senior students are helpful. Alumni meet has to be done on a regular basis so that the students nd the alumni can give more ideas for the students to improve themselves in their field.

Admission can be made through counselling as well as management. If made through counselling, we have to go on the specified date and choose our college. If admission is made through management we have to pay an initial amount and block our seat. But the fees for both the students are same as mentioned by anna university.

The faculties in our college is very good. Good faculties and knowledgeable faculties helping the students to clear with their subjects and also helping them to get placed. There is nothing negative regarding our faculties since most of them are best.
