Remarks
It has ties with various foreign universities and research labs. Also gives notes and references. Some professor also gives their personal notes. There's CCD in college campus. A whole block dedicated for games with PS3 and karaoke and gift shop. Free wifi all over college. Only negative remarks is food is veg in canteen. They don't make nonveg food In canteen. But u can eat nonveg if u bring ur own.
Course Curriculum Overview
It is a four year course with two semesters in each semester. Each semester has 5 or 6 subjects along with the practicals. there are two internal assessment test of 20 marks each in every semester. After that there is practical exam and extranal viva exams and then the written paper of 80 marks. This cycle repeats in every semester.
Placement Experience
Yes college provides numerous internship covering all type of field and speaking of placement almost every guys who has above 6.7 (which is the criteria made by many companies for recruitment) gets placed. Also indian navy comes in our college for placement. Top companies like byju's , l&t, tcs take a major number of students. A japan based it firm also recruits from our college who provides a package of 36 lakhs p.a.
College Events
Every year there are two fest. Technical based based in which various committee makes various technical projects and technical games, technical quiz, technical treasure hunt etc. The other fest is cultural fest with all types of dances and singing competition, fashion show, and all. There's also a jam event which happens every year where our colleges singing committee performs for 3 hours on stage. And various small event on every festival and environmental days like yoga.
Fee Structure And Facilities
I would say medium range but that depends on one's income. It's around 1,40,000 to 1,60,000 per year. But for obc it's half of that and for other caste like sc, st it's 5,000 to 15,000. Also you can apply for various scholarships provided by government.
Fees and Financial Aid
College has a separate department for scholarship. They will guide you through every step. As for loan college doesn't provide any loan but if u can't pay all your fee at one's it gives you time to pay it in several intervals.
Campus Life
Every year sports committee organize various inter college sports events covering almost evey sports from footballl , cricket, carrom, table tennis to chess, pubg, conter strike, volley ball, basketball.
Alumni/Alumna
Yes. Every year few alumni visit the college and conducts a seminar. Even senior students helps with selecting subjects and doubts. Seniors also helps with project work. They are very friendly and also tells us which professor should we see if we have any specific doubt or problem.
Admission
All entrance to engineering field are done by mumbai University. You have to fill out the admission form for btech on mumbai University then verify ur documents and then choose the colleges which u wanna join. Mumbai University makes a merit list based on that list it give you the college.
Faculty
Faculty of my college is good and friendly. They never refuse is u go and ask for help. I can say this college has one of the best faculty i have so far seen. They also help us with extracurricular and extra classes and doubt solving. Also if someone is going through mental stress there's a mentor assign for every batch.
