My Masters journey

Course curriculum was very thorough and informative. My major area of focus was microbiology. The lab sessions were the most fun and with a little help from the faculty, it helped me in pushing towards my goal of becoming a phd scholar.

Events are very discreet here. Most of our time went into the labs or attending ward shifts. Otherwise, we would be occupied with the classes or working on our thesis. I was in a dilemma about my future, either to go for a job or doctorate. I consulted my teachers and grateful to them, where I stand today.

My annual fee was around 9 lacs for the first year. In total, I paid around 26 lacs as my course fee which is very expensive and it was almost impossible to pay without a loan. The college is pretty supportive, especially in context of fee relaxation.

Extracurricular activities included some workshops and guest lectures on technological advancements specifically in the medical industry. These were co-curricular activities more than extracurricular activities. All of our labs were equipped with the latest tools for providing advanced treatment to the patients.

MD program was a residential program, that's why I got to avail of the accommodation facilities of the college. The infrastructure was very good and the mess food was also surprisingly good. Hostel life was pretty cool in short, but the hostel seats are very limited.

Admissions are granted on the basis of NEET - PG entrance exam. Since the number of seats is very few, the competition is pretty stiff here. Students who qualify for the college cut off are invited for the counseling process.

Our faculty always had our back. They were very supportive and kept pushing us towards taking ownership. The qualifications and the amount of experience they had, helped them in connecting better with students effectively.
