Our campus is good enough but there is a problem in my view that our campus is not smoking free.
Course Curriculum Overview
As I am under engineering faculty, we have eight semester in 4 years to complete our bachalor degree. Every semester have some syllabus decided by pharmaceutical council of India and Jadavpur University together. We have so many labs and workshops.
Placement Experience
There in my college many companies come for recruitment. Our college also provide internships to students. From our campus nearly 40% students placed every year.
College Events
Nearly 6 to 7 technical fests done in our college. In March in our engineering faculty the biggest fest ' Sanskriti' is celebrated. All over the year uncountable technical and cultural festival celebrated. Also sometimes some management fest is celebrated.
Fee Structure And Facilities
I think our college I.e. Jadavpur university has the minimum fee structure among the colleges in India . We spend only 9600 in our four year study. Thus only at 9600 we can complete our bachalor degree. Also there are some programmes like free studentship etc. In which a student can read there free of cost.
Fees and Financial Aid
The college offers nearly 6 to 7 scholarship for those students who were meritorious but financially poor.
Campus Life
There is a slogan famous about our university - ' Jadavpurer gay koto boyos mise jay '. In English, it means In our university so much of people of different religions, the different country lives together like a family. I think girls and boys are near of equal proportions.
Alumni/Alumna
Jadavpur University has the best alumni. Our seniors are really helpful, sometimes they do some unexpected things but overall they are really good.
Admission
At first I have to take an entrance (WBJEE), then after the result, councelling process done, after that verification at reporting center done. Lastly after college verification I was admitted at jadavpur university, my dream college. Counselling process done in 3 phases.
Faculty
Our professors are all well educated and also have industrial experience. They are really best teachers I have seen in my life. They all teaches us with patience and with their skills so that all students can learn properly. During classes they also told us their industrial experiences.
