Positive is our college has good placement records. negative is our college does not show much importance to sports. another positive is we have good relationship with faculty's. Another negative is our college does not have much placement other then cse/it/ece departments.
Course Curriculum Overview
Curriculum are very good especially for cse/it student. they teach us from the basic. In first year, we learn c programming and logics. we need 160 credit to have degree. each subject has some amount of credits. we have CBCS(choice based credit system) is a great advantage. we choose our course as per the today it situation.
Placement Experience
Karpagam college of engineering has amazing placement and intenship offers. in the year 2019, our highest placement offer is 14 lahks per annum. maximum students are placed and got internship in 3 year it self. every year around 500 to 600 student got placement in day zero and day one companies. hence, we don't worry about out future. even google conduct a camp in our college which is startup a company in 48 hrs.
College Events
In every year, our college conduct dhruva event which an inter college and cultural event. It conducted for all year students. every, our college also conduct kalam which is only for 1 year students. other then that we conduct pongal, onam, deepavali celebrations also.
Fee Structure And Facilities
Fees structure is average level Fees for merit based student is around 70000 rs only, hostel fees is about 74000 for 1 year and 70000 for 2, 3, 4 year students. Per year I student average pays 1. 5 lakh. It may vary for some scholarship avail student

Our college avail scholarship for the students from the government. They contact the bank to provide loan offer for students. they help the student to apply for loan and scholarships. they provide education loans.
Campus Life
We have good lab facilities. Our college conduct nss camp every year. we goes to forest and we eeducate forest tribes. In every we won the chess and batmition competition in the inter college meet.
Hostel Facilities
1 year hostel has very excellent infrastructure and food and facilities. But the hostel for 2, 3, 4 year is not up to the level. we have healthy food menu. recently our hostel produced special food for pongal celebration
Alumni/Alumna
Our college conduct alumni meet every year. our very few alumni are now in Microsoft and Apple companies also. our alumni tell us about the placement and job experice with us. they said that, "our college has good teaching so that we could Learn a new programming within one to two week. ''
Admission
I got admission in my college by counselling conducted by DOTE (Directorate of Technical Eduction) by mark in HSE (2nd year) TN board. I choose b. tech information technology because I have interest in that. I choose karpagam college because it has good placement record.
Faculty
Faculty are well experienced. Karpagam college have very strict faculty selection. faculty said that, "you need to study to solve the problem faced by the current world". they are not only teaching the syllabus they teach a industrial culture. they trained a normal student and make the student an good engineer who has attitude, problem solving ability and programming knowledge.
