Review of Burdwan Raj College

The college is suffering from some internal political problems. Independent day is also some kind qualities in between the professors. There is some corruption few last years so corruption has impact on our college fund. Our college fee includes many services which is not provided to us like free Wi-Fi and many other things, it is the result of that corruption done by previous principal and student Union of TMCP. Our college also don't have a common room for boys

I happy with my subject, but zoology is mainly a practical based subject. But our University still focusing on the theoretical exams. Practical exam are also held but they are not good as it should be. The practical stream should be developed. The syllabus is so vast that college can't cover the whole syllabus. In semester we should get 6 months for study. but we get near about 3-4 months. The exam process is so lengthy near about 2 months for practical and theory examination.

Our college campus does not provide any campusing so so there is no chance of providing intercept. Not only now stream but also other stream does not have any campusing system. Job opportunities are not well after completing B. Sc. for getting higher education we need to change the college. After completing B. Sc. we can apply for some competitive exams but the college doesn't provide any help for this.

Our fee structure is semester based. As I am studying zoology honours we have to to study the practical also so so when we give the fee of college we need to to give a extra amount of money for the lab although it is included in the semester fee. Our semester fee is near about 4000 rupees. Beside semester fee we also give examination fee of the university. Its near about 700 rupees.

Our college don't provide any type of scholarship alone. But they provide some governmental scholarship and loan facility but the college just work as a mediator. Scholarship like kanyashree are provided to the girls only.

Our college has a department of music. So in extra curricular activities mainly in singing our colleges very good. Our college is also good in sports mainly in cricket. Some of the college student are good in drawing dancing and writing any poem etc.

I don't have the hostel room. Our college has to hostel building. Some of our friends stay in the hostel. But there is some problem of the hostel. 1. The food quality of the hostel is not good as other hostels. 2. During holidays hostels are closed so student who have extra tuitions in the college area they need to stay in some mess of other friends room for attending the tuitions.

Our departmental seniors are very helpful. They help us in every possible way. Not only in the theoretical studies but also in practical lab experiments. Beside study they also help us in communication with other departmental seniors and professors. The providers that address of tutors and the information about examination process of University.

I had 96% on my biological sciences paper, so I applied for zoology honours. The college release a merit list based on the parcentage of 10+2 examination. My name came in the merit list and got selected. After selection college verified my all documents and enlisted my name in their college under zoology honours.

They are all good. But some of them have much knowledge and teaching capacity. They all have their doctorate degree in in their special stream. Some of them are so good and very helpful. They provide us extra classes including practical classes. Beside our processes there are some lab technician who also help us in our practical study.
