Remarks

There are both negative and positive remarks for this college. The positive aspect is the placements and internships are very good and the negative aspect is the syllabus is outdated. The second thing is there is no brand outlet for food. Local canteen which are running by their shoo owners holds the place.

Course Curriculum Overview

The college curriculum is outdated. The college follows a very comprehensive study course. The syllabus for first semester is same for all the respective branches. From second semester the syllabus of each branch is different related to their field.

Placement Experience

The placement and job opportunities are very impressive. Almost everyone is placed by the end of the final year. Our college also provide internship for all branches with a stipend of around 2 lakhs per 2 months.

College Events

There are several societies in our college who usually conducts events. College fest is conducted in the month of August. The events are very big and famous personalities are invited to perform on the stage.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fee of this college is high. As this is a government college we didn't expected this much of fees. The total fee for 4 years is around 12-14 lakhs including hostel accommodation and mess charges. The institution fee increases year by year.

Fees and Financial Aid

Loan facility is provided to the students of our University by different banks. This procedure happens during the admission. The interest is low for the students and the fees is directly submitted to the college account.

Campus Life

All types of extracurricular activities takes place in our college. Like sports, labs, fests, etc. Various branches compete with each other to win the title. We also receive food coupons for winning each match.

Hostel Facilities

Yes I opted for hostel. The hostel fee is slightly high. The quality of hostel rooms is far better than other government colleges but the food quality is poor. Hostel possess 24*7 electricity and water facility.

External Expense: Rs.7000 - Rs.10000

Alumni/Alumna

Alumni network of our college is quite strong. We easily get funding for various startups that are presented in our college. The senior students are also very helpful. They are always ready to help. They even provide their notes.

Admission

I managed to score quite decent marks in JEE Mains, through which I applied for several colleges and I am very fortunate that I got Computer Engineering in NSUT. This paper consists of 90 question, 30 from maths, physics and chemistry.

Faculty

The faculty of the college is quite good. But the admin staff is bullshit. They detain students with 74.99% of attendance. All the students of this University must have 75% attendence to qualify for written examination.

Good college for leaning and enjoy campus life.

Likes

College has many club and societies where you can get chance to participate.
College has good amenities for BTech students.
Faculty and college managements are supportive and helpful.

Dislikes

Location is bit away from metro station.
College should provide more free shuttle bus service from metro station.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum is good. I do not feel very pressure. The course curriculum is design by GGSIPU. There is not spefific reason to choose to this course. It was my childhood dream to become computer engineer. I cant say that the curriculum prepares for real world applications because I am just second year students. The exam conducted on semester basis and its not very difficult.

Nsut college life

Likes

You get to meet different kind students from all over the northern states
Fest and events are organized at huge scale and you get a lot of exposure
Society is culture is very strong and you get huge opportunities

Dislikes

Academic is tough, depending on the brach the curriculum can get hectic
Teachers are strict and entry in college is forbidden after 6pm
Attendance criteria is strict due to which you dont get enough time for other things

Placement Experience:

College provides huge opportunities for placement Till now we have around 400 companies who visited our college and still the placements are going on so everyone in the end gets placed Highest package is around 60lpa and the average will be around 9-10 , As i said almost every one gets placed in the end till now 70% are placed

Here in Jamia the faculty is very experienced in their fields , they make you feel Engineering and not to just read books. there teaching methods are amog the top in the nation
the curriculum not just focus on your engineering but also focuses on your personality development.
the infrastructure itself gives you the feel of oldness and the reputation of the college.

Dislikes

one bad thing is its less availability of Hostel rooms .
there is a very strict rule of 75% attendance .

Placement Experience:

Placements at Jamia Millia Islamia are not too high or too low and depend on the branch. Students can apply for placements starting from their 7th semester. Big companies like TCS, Infosys, Wipro, Accenture, and some startups come to recruit. The average salary offered is between 7 to 8 lakhs per year, but there are not many students who get higher packages. About 40 to 60 percent of students get placed. Many students also work on getting into higher studies or look for jobs outside the campus after they finish their degree.

Things I like is 1st the cafeteria food 😂🫶🏻 it is good.../tasty
and in classroom thier were 2 AC in a room and 5-8 fans..
they have sensors lights on building and lift.. well maintained library

I don't know about the placements.. because in this college it is 1st batch of b.tech they just started to offer b.tech.. my plans after getting degree to take a job then do that.. or before that if I get internship I will do that for experience

Faculty members are very good and friendly behaviour in nature
College timing is good 09.00 AM to 06.00Pm but gap in between lecture 2 to 3 hrs
Saturday and Sunday holiday it's a very good in college life

Dislikes

College infrastructure is not good bcoz our classes in maharshi kannad bhawan
Our college not provided hostel bcoz our building is under construction

Our college is started in 2023 So there was no placement My seniors were doing internship in DRDO Google as well as multinational companies My plan is to crack gate exam in 3rd yr and UPSC ESE exam in final year

Supportive faculties in study wise and real growth support if you need it.
Labs and Syllabus are latest and up to date, so really not a problem on that. And if you do need components for yourself you can ask the college and get it easily

Dislikes

College on it's own doesn't do any Cultural events or Freshers, there's a lot of process and Headaches to get it.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Course Curriculum for ECE in my clg is quite up to date and comprehensive, covering both core subjects and emerging areas of technology, which was a major factor in my decision to choose this branch. Course has a balanced theory with practical exposure, supported by great faculties guidance and well-maintained lab conditions. Also you get to choose the type of minor or specilaization you want to pursue after 1st year. Exams are conducted regularly after each semester, and levels are same as any engineering college would have.

I like the infrastructure of my college. College have provided us AC rooms with clean washrooms. Qualified teachers. Maintained decorum. Most important it is a government college.
Smart classes are available in every room. Cantens are available.
There are many labs for every subject either it's of EE, ECE, CSE

Dislikes

New college so there are no societies or clubs.
Fees is too high for general category students.
No facilities of hostel available in our college

I am an Electrical Engineering student. I chose this course because the demand for skilled Electrical Engineers is high leads to job security and also we can keep our options open for other fields by choosing this branch.

Vast campus - one of the biggest campus in Delhi, great greenery , feels free to roam around
Exclusive course- among the fewest government colleges which provide chemical engineering
Less explored field- field is relatively new and evergreen, if done with perseverance, you can get great jobs

Dislikes

Long classes- a very hectic time table during the first semester
Too many Assingments- teachers give way too many Assignments
Exams start late in comparison to other government colleges

Placement Experience:

I would not suggest On Campus placement for this college as the placement cell is not very good here. However one can score a great package if they develop skills in the field of chemical engineering.

This college has a great placement. 80% of students do place every year. If you got no placement then they will give you the opportunity to start the startup. starting the 4th year you get the placement and opportunities. this college visits many companies like Amazon HCL Flipkart etc. this college's highest package is 26 LPA and the average package is 10.5 LPA. 80% of students get placed. my plan is after taking the degree I will start my startup.

NSUT- A rollercoaster but definitely must have experience.

The main reason for joining this college was proximity from my home. Another option was DTU but it had a 2 hour journey from my home whearas NSUT had 1 hour journey. Both colleges are almost same and placements are also almost same. If someone is choosing between these colleges then distance should be a major factor.
