Parul University, B.Tech, Computer Science and Engineering

Reviewed on Mar 21, 2020

Remarks

one of the best College of Gujarat. Parul university has a big campus. It has a good team of faculties providing us with good knowledge and they are very friendly with students. The College has a good library and it also provide E-library facilities.

Course Curriculum Overview

Good examination conducting system by faculty They make our semester easy by adding weekly marks and mid exam mark's They gave a good confidence to every student. Examination are very strict and extraordinary Make a good correction of papers

Placement Experience

Parul university comes under top 10 private university in Gujarat. So the chances of getting placement are more. There are 900 students who was placed previous year. So this the one of the most secure university if you want to succeed in your life.

College Events

University regularly organises a separate events for separate branches in College and DHOOM a university cultural and sports fest along with that is PROJECTIONS which is a tech fest. A wonderful days for us.

Fee Structure And Facilities

When compared with south Indian universities it is very best with a famous name. But when I joined here they told to pay us full fee I was uncomfortable for us for paying all the payment at a time. But from year of 2020 they changed that to clear by semester

Fees and Financial Aid

All types of scholarship avaliable for everyone. By concreting higher officers they gave all information about what you want But I haven't applied for any scholarship They provide for everyone the things whom want.

Campus Life

All types of games are available for everyone. But here they show region feelings more in sports. It hurts every south Indian students. But no-one can do anything. In games all the boy & girls are participating avaliable. I was being good for attedance. they make daily attendance for the sports qualified person.

Hostel Facilities

2.5

Different hostel are available according to the requirement and facilities with mess and laundry facility. Attached hospital of Parul group provide medical facility for students 24/7. Wi-Fi facility available in whole campus

External Expense: Rs.2000 - Rs.4000

Alumni/Alumna

Yes seniors are very helpful to us for learning other languages They told many things to us. Around 60-65% of the total number of passing students every year gets the placement for the particular course according to the average package. In 2018, the highest offered salary was around Rs. 1, 16, 000 per month.

Admission

I a South Indian student I got admission here by a consultancy person. When I got admission here I feel happy & proud to be an engineer from parul university I have selected CSE department for being a software engineer. The teachers made me more confident when I joined here.

Faculty

Professors are quite good. Many of them are from IIT, NIT and SRM and they are always trying to push student forward and harder to achieve his or her goals. The professors are friendly and helpful. Our course deals with the aeronautical industry and makes student ready for the industry.

Good Learning Experience with Scope for Improvement

Likes

Helpful teachers and a friendly campus environment.
Good classrooms and learning facilities.
Supportive faculty and a positive learning atmosphere.

Placement Experience:

Placement opportunities are moderate and depend on students' skills. More companies, internships, and career guidance would improve placements. After completing my course, I plan to seek a good job and develop my professional skills.

The parul university review

Likes

The campus view is awesome we all will see new things everytime and it feels fresh at the morning.
The personal development of particular students have been in focus of every faculty which is awesome.
The behaviour towards students of every professor is the best all are understanding and calm towards students.

Dislikes

There is a system of gate pass means whenever u need to go out of main gate with the permission we are not allowed to go.
In hostel the washrooms are not so clean for the students with common washroom hostel
The mess food are boring sometimes and the food of the food seems to be same everytime

Course Curriculum Overview:

- I have a great interest in coding and this field is based on coding so i choosed the computer field. -The curriculum of the college are based on the things which will help us in future for real world application. -The way they i based on pdf means they make a full note of a subject in pdf and explain that and which makes clear to us so I don't think they should change. -There is a enough time to study for exams it depends on us how me manage it and the difficulty level is medium it is based on what we have understood till now in studies we have studied.

Likes

The collage infrastructure is really good and vibrant, it is well developed.
Campus life is really good, there are food courts, playground, libraries avaliable.
The whole campus has wifi avaliable, they've got atm too.

Dislikes

there are quite a few restrictions like no roaming allowed after 9:30pm.
mess food is not so good, its managable but sometimes it feels miserable
for every small thing to be done, lots of paperwork is required whether you need to go outside the campus or needs a NOC

Placement Experience:

in my unversity, proper placements usually start from 7th sem, however after 4th sem, the collage provides the opputunity to go for impact traning if youve got more than 60% in your 10th, 12th and throughtout the semesters from that traning top permorning student get a chance to sit for product-based companies. as of now (jan 2026), the highest placement recorded is 60lpa at microsoft, the average is aroudn 3.5 lps to 6 lpa, most of the recruiting companies are service based such as capgemini, infosys, tcs etc. around 200-250 students gets palce after heavy filtering, i plan to go for higher studies,
