Remarks

Our college is very good helpful but if the campus is bit enlarged then it would be helpful for us. Our class rooms are little bit small. Building is old but we'll stable. Our professor are very helpful.

There is very tough syllabus.Vast chance to get great knowledge.Mathematics is very interesting subject.Algebra set relation function are very well described.6 month semester exam always help us to get knowledge.

Placement Experience

After completing b.sc many one can complete there m.sc & m.a degree here.after that they can go for ssc psc exams.Many of our seniors crack for higher opportunity.Normally it's not a engineering college so no company join with the college.

Every year lots of Puja e.g.swaraswati Puja, Kali Puja celebrated here.Also independent day and lots of honorable persons birthday celebration is held here.Our union celebrate each year every event.

It's expensive than yearly structure.Our per semester admission fees is near about 2000 rupees only after that our examination charge is 500 rupees.in a year we spent near about 5000 rupees.While yearly system it is nearly 3000 rupees

Fees and Financial Aid

I am not join the hostel.But hear about that there is no hostel for boys.But girls hostel is available which is little bit away from our college nearly 2 km away.The infrastructure is well organized and well maintained.

Campus Life

Our union celebrate Sports each and every year.They gift lots of prize to the winners, football match, cricket match is also played during sports.In physics, chemistry and computer science have good labs and lots of improvement need.

Senior students are very helpful, they give us the right way.They are also very friendly.They thought us sometimes they make our right mind set.And give us books we need also gives money to library for having books.

Admission

I fill up my admission form for mathematics hons.Few days later in college website shows the merit list.There I can find my name.A fixed date was announced for admission.There our honorable professors council us.And I got admitted.Now via merit list in and website students got admitted.

Faculty

The facility of this subject is always demanding high.Not only my subject but each student got chance to stand up in there life through study.Our seniors got TIFR, Jam like big exam.It really depends on you what you deserves.

Campus is nice. There's greenery and all
SOME of the faculties are really good and those said teachers will actually look out for you and care
Mentors are appointed for each students who are responsible for their final year project, publications and LORs. If you are lucky, you'll get a good mentor.

Dislikes

Classrooms are less compared to the number of students. Students have to wander around the building after each classes to find seats. Classrooms are very dirty
There's literally NOTHING in the labs. Experiments take way long to prepare and perform because reagents and equipments are never available.
Hardly a 2 week summer break (because of MAKAUT). Students cannot even apply to good internships because no lab would take in external students in july or august.

Placement Experience:

People who major in my department usually opt for masters over placement not because of this college but because overall industrial or academic opportunities are better with a pg degree. Masters from this college is not recommended as i have heard so from my seniors. Some of my seniors managed to crack competitives and secure MSc seats at great places. Training and Placement cell had a good coordinator previously but now its almost non existent. Companies do come and hire Bpharm, Mpharm and MSc candidates. Packages are below average. Only Nestle pays well. But if you do well you'll eventually climb up the corportate ladder. From the time i am here i have not heard of any BSc candidate getting placed. Most go for higher studies.

Likes

The faculty members are knowledgeable and supportive. Most teachers explain concepts clearly and are approachable after class for doubts and guidance, which helps a lot during exams.
The college has a disciplined academic environment with regular classes and practical sessions. Laboratories are functional and help students understand concepts through hands-on learning.
The campus environment is calm and student-friendly. Various seminars, cultural programs, and academic activities help in overall personality development.

Dislikes

Industry exposure and internship guidance are minimal, which could be improved to make students more job-ready after graduation.
Infrastructure can be improved, especially classrooms and laboratory equipment. Some facilities feel outdated and require modernization.
Placement opportunities for BSc students are limited. The college focuses more on academics, so students need to prepare for higher studies or competitive exams on their own.

The average package offered for such roles ranges between ?2–3 LPA, while the highest package offered to a BSc student is around ?4 LPA, depending on skills and specialization. Likes

I like the campus , it is quite huge and green , the canteen has both cooked and packed food available, a seperate common room for students and many sports equipment available. Several functions are arranged along with international conferences held
All the faculty members are soft spoken , knowledgeable and friendly, it is easy to find help regarding anything.
Professors are strict about their syllabus and subjects , paying proper attention to the students. Practicals classes are conducted without fail.

Dislikes

There is nothing as such that I disliked because I am a first year student so I haven't been so much involved yet , I think that the washrooms should be cleaned properly to maintain the hygiene apart from thjs everything is fine.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Subjects offered in the college as well as the minor and idc subjects are well adhered to the curriculum and future aspects. The subject combinations are apt and futuristic. It moderately prepares one for real world situations.

How is it like to be a part of Presidency University!

Likes

I like the facilities available including air conditioner, lab equipments, projector screen for slideshow, canteen and overall the campus
I also appreciate the faculties because they have studied in highly reputed institutes and undoubtedly teach the best.
I like how the college focuses not only on academics but also on co curricular. Sports, cultural functions, workshops are held frequently. It keeps the students engaged in fruitful activities

Dislikes

I do not like the multidisciplinary courses that we have to study in the first year making it little burdened for the students.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course is very relevant as it provides us an overall knowledge of biology and not dividing it into various sections rather giving us an insight of every aspect of biology. It includes everything such as microbiology, zoology, botany, physiology, molecular biology and so on.

Reasons to not apply for NSHM Knowledge Campus

Likes

The admission process was very smooth, the administration board is very helpful.
The library is huge and the content of books is very good
College life and fests are good but not great

Dislikes

Placements are absolutely bogus. There were almost no good placements when i passed out part of it can be blamed on covid but mostly the college was largely at fault
Faculty was not upto the mark in regards to the hefty college fees we were charged
Even during covid online classes we were charged full fee which is again absolutely horrendous

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum was well thought out as per me but there were subjects that i found absolutely unnecessary. Subjects like history evs and clc were in no way related to my course. Coming to the main subjects Design, Printing, Photography and film and Media Training were absolutely necessary for my course and whilst the faculty for some of these subjects were really bad, some were good. It is also important to mention none of these subjects actually helped us prepare for the real world. Instead internships and freelance helped us more than these subjects could ever do. Exams were held bi monthly to keep track of what we learnt and every 6 months we had our semester exams. Overall if you want to be a media professional INTERNSHIPS AND JOBS WILL HELP YOU MORE THAN A COLLEGE WILL. I am biased on this opinion as my college didnt provide me with the correct guidance and support i needed to make it in the real world.

Non-Teaching faculties are very bad . they don't work good.

1st year+ Registration Fees-6780 2nd , 3rd , 4th Year Fees- 3000/year Tution fees and all others fees are included in above fees. There is no scholarship from university but there is a wb state govt provided SVMCM scholarship. The Campus is fully green

Examination Questions And Syllabus are good.
Faculties and Facilities are good enough.
College and evaluation system is good enough.

Dislikes

Timings of examinations per semester is reduced.
Examination centres are given far away from college.
Fees is little bit Higher for many poor students.

Placement Experience:

In case of computer science department, placement is provided at the Last year of M.sc course. Many companies like Wipro, b10x, Tata visited here. Highest package ever is three lakh per annum. 20-40% of the students got placement after completing M.Sc computer science. My plan after B.sc is to pursue MCA.

Likes

College library there are ample amount of books to br studied on.
College campus. There are no such ragging related activities have been encouraged in our college

I found mathematics an interesting discipline to take up for my future so i opted. The faculties are well educated and behaved. We get regular classes with doubt solving session. The professors also help us with our doubts and extra classes.

For Physics First You Try Govt. College,If you don't get admission then take admission here for BSc.For MSc don't take admission here in any situation.

To take admission on Bsc in any stream you have to qualify about 75% in total and 75+ in your mainstream in HS. But here you can take admission by money given under the table if you don't qualify the cut-off marks to take admission ????.. Application is an online process, but you have to present in the right hall room at the time of admission, otherwise, you will lose your seat which is will be filled up in some black way. All category reservation according to the Guidelines of UGC is allowed here. You have to keep patience in the admission line because they take admission of all students on a particular day, so you have to stay in a long line for your admission approval. ADMISSION PROCESS: No, there is no entrance-type examination for admission at the Undergraduate level. Admission takes place by marks obtained in classes 12th and 10th. The first shortlisted applicants by the basis of their marks (as said above) and the College give a counseling date for admission. At the time of admission, you have to pay some admission fees to book your seat. Yes, there are some seats for sc, st,obc and PWD candidates.No minimum age required. You can apply to various subjects but you have to choose only one of them if you get it. Suppose you get a seat for Mathematics but after some days you get a chance to take admission in Physics then you have to show a payslip given by college during your admission in Mathematics to reduce the admission fees.
