Course Curriculum Overview
The best thing is that in the first year we got to learn the basics of subjects from every branch that really helps. The knowledge given when u entered in a respective department not helps 100% but yes it helps to gain imp theoretical knowledge but for practical knowledge, u have to do internships in industry and u can go for ur own research, Industrial visits are arranged on regular basis for every department and that really helps
Placement Experience
Mnc companies like Amazon data technologies Infosys cognizant byjus etc came every year also core companies like john deer synergy green trident tech also visits every year. In recruitment process there is pre-placement talk then there is aptitude test then the interviews and HR rounds are there About 40 to 50 % of students get placed every year, Yes the course like co cubes workshops on how to face interview helps a lot
College Events
At start of the semester, we celebrate Ganpati festival then we have our national level technical event called as pioneer held in the month of jan or Feb that really boost the technical skills of students also lots of days loke tie day hat day traditional day etc are celebrated in college
Fee Structure And Facilities
The fee structure is feasible for the caste students with sc students have yearly fee around 750 rs and obc students have to pay 45000 and rest is paid by the government by scholarship schemes and open students have to pay half fees and rest is paid by the government
Fees and Financial Aid
No personal scholarships were given by college but students get lot of benefits by the government and that helps in paying annual fees
Campus Life
The campus is good all the basic facilities like stationary canteen parks etc are there talking about college grounds one big ground is available to play football cricket volleyball also there is a special basketball court. Also there is a central library which opens 12 hr a day and that really helps students the college has an equal amount of boys and girls also strict actions are there on ragging college campus i well equipped with cctv and college has good economic status
Hostel Facilities
Hostel facilities are moderate the plus point of the hostel is hostel mess that gives u the best food and staff working here in a hostel is also really good and supportive the warden is strict and sets best eg of discipline also the environment here in the hostel is very friendly cleaning is also good
Alumni/Alumna
The college has very good alumni network they regularly came to college and gives info about the current situation of industries and guides every student for thier career and seniors are also really helping full they share their notes and studies with juniors ragging is low
Admission
I like mechanical engineering from my childhood that's why I opted for this course. This institution is one of the best institutes in Kolhapur and I want to do my studies in Kolhapur because my relatives live here. First, u have to give state CET exam then u have to select the college as per ur merit and then just confirm ur seat in college and u will get admission
Faculty
Total there are 20 to 30 teachers there in the mechanical department and most of them are really friendly with students avg age will be 45 to 50 All the teachers are really experienced and have excellent teaching and doubt solving ability 95% teachers have industrial experience
