Remarks

My ambition to become doctor. Through my effort and got seat in govt college. I dedicated my one year for studying only for medical entrance exam. I worked hard suring that year. My family and friends support me well.

Course Curriculum Overview

Course is very chill than I thought. I like to study these topics. Curriculum of mbbs is vast so we have ro dedicate so many hours for studying the topics. Curriculum provide vast opportunity in the foeld of research.

Placement Experience

We have to do 5 yrs of bond in esic hospitals apart from 1 year internship programme. 1 year internship programme is in the same college with a stipend of 20000 per month. During bond they will give a salary of 70000 per month, without food and accomodation.

College Events

Our college does not support much in cultural, technical and sports activities. Eventhough every year there will be a college fest. There will be cultural, literary, sports events in that. Final year batch of college should conduct that programme.

I am studying in govt seat (all india seat) Course fee = 25000 ( yearly) Security deposit = 5000( yearly) Hostel and mess deposit = 5000 (yearly) Hostel fee = 1800 ( yearly) Mess fee = 3500 ( monthly)

Fees and Financial Aid

No I didn't got any scholorship from the college or govt because I am studying in out of state college. Most of the scholorship are for same state students. Loan facility is provided by college through direct access.

All facuties who are teaching us are much qualified ones. Faculties are mbbs graduated or post graduates. They are so interested in teaching us, if we show interest to study the topics. They will support us every time.

Likes

It was good professors and friendly teaching staff
Campus life is good, it provide new opportunities and has events and various clubs
Everyone here are good and friendly and is a lovely place to study

Dislikes

Hospital is far from college, which is again not an issue as they send bus service
It can give and provide more opportunities
Hostel facilities can be improved and they can build few more lecture halls

I chose this course because I wanted to help the needy. Also this college provides best education for mbbs to come out with beautiful colours, they provide so many opportunities. There will be three internal assessments and one final university exam

Life as a medical student

Likes

Vydehi has the best museum with accurate specimens. VASA is main attraction of Vydehi offering simulations for basic life support, trauma management, Advanced life support, laparoscopic surgeries, delivery and many more.
Central library of vydehi has great book collection for undergrads , PGs , competitive exams etc. It is well organised and we'll maintained
Security: My favourite of all is the security system of vydehi that make girls feel safe. No strangers are allowed without being checked and hostlers are not allowed to go out without permission

Dislikes

Hostel fee: Hostel fee in vydehi is a little expensive considering the facilities provided.
Students are not allowed to leave the college premises during lecture hours which can be troublesome when they have to leave due to emergency or when classes are not helpful
Uniform: Newly introduced inform in vydehi decreases respect for interns. Patients treat intern medical officers as nurses due to uniform.o

Course Curriculum Overview:

Curriculum is based on practical scenarios and very relevant since doctors need to understand real life scenarios inorder to treat patients. Curriculum includes OSCE and certified skills that prepare students to become good doctors. More individual attention and skill development can help students understand topics and mould into good clinicians.

The college has been consistently ranked under top10 medical college for many decades.
The faculties and infrastructure is really top notch.
The hospital is very good in handling all the patients properly and systematically.

Dislikes

The course fee is too high for a middle class student.
The class is filled with rich students so if you have less money you can feel inferior.
The rankings which the college claims sometimes sound gimmicky.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The MBBS comprises 19 Subjects which is vast. Knowing so many things make you not only knowledgeable but also you have very important role in society. This course is filled with practical knowledge which are compulsory to get. This gives you skills which only a few people can have. So you already stand in society. The newer changes that has been made by NMC has reduced the time for studies. It was less exhausting before. Exams are properly placed and arranged . They are well divided into theories, practicals, internal examinations, certification for skills, etc. Last year has more papers now.

The whole bunch of colleges lies in grennery .
Hostel os very close to college , and very clean.
Insfracture is very good , very good envirnoment

Dislikes

It is situated in remote area, place in boring
Even in hostle mess is very bad , even though it is clean
In hospital patient load is low , since we are doctor's we need exp with huge no. Patient interaction

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course I am in is mbbs, once I get out of college with graduation, there is a job awaiting me. Now the NMC medical brings the next exam for 3 years. All are saying it will be the toughest exam of medical since the pervious one.

I liked teaching of the cloth .It is good and also very strict.The patient input is little less when compared to other colleges
The hostel rooms are good ,spacious ,good environment
The campus is situated next to lake which makes campus more beautiful

Dislikes

Hostel food is worst chicken is also provided but taste is not good
Watchman of Subbaih behave rudely with students
There is no water filter fitted in classroom or corridor

Amazing college. Well reputed and ranks the fourth best medical college in India. Faculty is priceless and very experienced. Hospital patients jntake is quite good. Many patients come from far off places for treatment. A complete new world. Safety is too good. You'll love having a life in manipal.
