Overall it's a good college where you get good exposure and also it gives you a direction in which you must head for the future.Yeah you might say they are more inclined towards studies and all but then you can also take it as that they're preparing you to become a hard worker and excel in whichever field you're going in.
Course curriculum is quite good as it allows you to study other branches subjects also in the form of elective subjects. Also they conduct tests and exams on a regular basis just to make sure that you are on a right track and don't get deviated from the studies.
Placement and job opportunities distinguish our college from others. Almost every if not all student bag placement.Dream companies like google, Microsoft, Uber, Airtel etc come with an average placement of 15-20 lacs. Also yes they provide internship but yeah on a smaller scale compared to placements.
Moksha the cultural fest of NSUT is celebrated in a very grand manner in the month of March. It is usually a three day fest in which participants from various colleges try their luck in various events which are held during the course of three days. Also innovasion and resonanz that is the tech fest is also celebrated in the month of September in which various tech events are organised and students from various colleges try their luck.
Fee structure is a bit expensive if you think of it as a government College because they'd charge you around 1.5 lacs per year for the studies. But once you start studying here, the Kind of environment for studies, for extra curricular activities or anything. You'd be like yeah the money that our parents have invested in here is worth it for a simple reason that apart from studies you don't have to give up on your dreams which can be anything.
Our college offers scholarship on a merit basis that is if you are a top rank holder, it might take one or two years but they definitely give you the scholarship benefits. Also if you come from economically weaker section then also you can apply for scholarship. They take two to three months in checking everything and all but in the end they'd give you the scholarship.
Our college has many societies n students can accordingly choose society. We have ashwamedh that is the dramatics society of NSIT,then we have various societies for dance, for debates etc. Also we have Inter college Sports fest for the sports freaks other than winter Sports in which students from all branches and years activaly participate.
They charge us 25600 for the hostel per semester in case of a single room and 23900 in case of double room. Hostel infrastructure is moderate but yeah better than traveling daily for 3 hours. If you're a delhite you might get the hostel a bit late but yeah you'll get it for sure.
The best thing about college is that our senior would never make you feel like they're senior to us.I mean they're so helpful that sometimes you'd feel that they're helping you guys out more than your classmates would do. Right from day one, they'd guide you as in what should you do apart from studies. Also in studies how to study smart for from studying everything from their experience. Overall they're way more helpful than anyone's expectations.
For getting admission in NSUT, You just have to pass the JEE exam conducted by CBSE.DTU and NSUT together conduct JAC(Joint Admission Counselling) and if you clear the cut off for a particular branch, you can take the admission if you want. Also I chose instrumentation over other electrical branches was because instrumentation is a mixture of electrical as well as electronics so you just don't have to study only electrical subjects or the electronic ones. Also the scope of instrumentation is increasing rapidly as we're moving ahead in 21st century.
Facilities are mostly PhD's and very good. Also they teach their respective subjects with so much passion that even if you're not so interested in that particular subject but go on to pay attention to what he or she teaches, you'd surely fall for that subject.
Very Good, Nothing, Fun and masti with research, I was actively involved in social service based activities at munirka village to teach poor children of primary schools
I took the GATE exam and secured 673 rank in Electrical engineering.I did Mtech in Industrial engineering in 2012,then after one year break continued for Phd.
Average package level for Btech students is 7-8 lacs, there are only few extraordinary students in some departments who get higher packages. Placements for Mtech students is not good.
Admission was through pass percentage of 12th.
Placement was good and starting package was 1 Lac. Several companies come for placement and PG course options are very good.
The fee is expensive makes its bad for economically poor students. While its teaching quality and placements makes an excellent place to study.
College is overall good and a well academic atmosphere is available for every one campus area is in a crowded locality sex ratio is also good.
