TAPMI - The Stern guide

College is very strict when it comes to discipline and timeliness. They've been about to attain excellent placement record over the years. Pedogagy includes high focus on actual business cases. It remains one of the only five college in India that are double crown. AACSB and AMBA.

TAPMI is a double crowned college. So the course curriculum is on par with most of the best colleges in India. High focus on research is laid for past couple of years. Schedule can be a bit hectic during few days. Strictness around time is maintained at the college.

TAPMI had been able to achieve 100% placement across years. Many companies visit for internship as well, called management in practice which happens to be a compulsory 4 credit course. Many IT and marketing companies visit campus. for the past 5 past focus is to bring more finance and HR related companies/profile as well.

Various management festivals are held across the year. Participation in these events are available for all MBA college across india. TAPMI organizes Quiz on the beach QOTB which is one of the biggest Quiz conducted by any Bschool in India.

Fee in 2015-17 was 14 lakh which was feasible considering the quality of education and the industry standard for the level of curriculum ,campus, facilities provided. Over this mess and electricity fees is taken.

Top 2-3% of students get scholarship from college. Loan facility is easily available at SbI and syndicate Bank. Both these give at a preferential rate since the college is ranked good in their internal lists as well.

They've one of the biggest Bloomberg lab in India. Reuters lab is also available. Finance lab is good. All Terminal works all the time. Bloomberg training options are also available. Speed an annual event takes place. Gym also available in the campus.

2 sharing rooms. Infrastructure was quite good. Regularly extensive cleaning is done. Few single seater rooms are available as well. First year is allocated basis random allocation method. For second year, students can choose their floor and roommates.

Alumni network is very helpful. Many jobs are provided by the alumni only. City meets are conducted by alumni community one a year. It's been done at Singapore and Dubai now as well. College has a separate alumni webpage and group as well.

Students need to appear for CAT exam and fill the admission form for Tapmi. Then the college releases the list of students eligible for next step and these students are asked to choose a date for the process. The process included a written test and personal interview.

Faculty is quite approachable inside and outside the classroom as well. Except a few, most of the faculty can be approached for research purposes as well. Faculty owns the subject they teach and take regular feedback to improve the curriculum if their subject.
