Remarks
As mentioned, the activities are a lot ehich is good for the well being of the students but the technical teaching needs to improve a lot. Few faculties are reluctant to teach and are never on time mostly accounting for abscence. If yoy want opportunity but ready to take the onus on your own this college is good for students.
Course Curriculum Overview
There are total of 8 semester. 4 years in total. The course curriculum is rrally backdated and few unwanted subjects make the quality of engineering really low. The semester exam is of 100 marks where 70 is theory and 30is internal exam. There is credit points for different subjecta depending on the importance of it on the course.
Placement Experience
Placement depend on the stream you are in. If you are from cse then placements are really good. But there is a difference between quality nad quantity, however good the quantity might be, the quality is low. By quality i mean no students get placed in core companies. College Events
A lot of fests. Edge being a technical fest which is the largest in easter India after iitkgp. Then eclectica which is literary fest and samaritans which is a good deed or social club. A lot of students participate, every student is active in atleast one or the othrr club.
Fee Structure And Facilities
Its expensive, but its same for all private colleges. 4. 2 lakhs in 4 years apprx. Every semester exan you are required to pay 1200 rupees and an one time registration fees to the university which is about 3000.
Fees and Financial Aid
If your family income is below 5lpa then you can register under tfw which is tution fees waiver. The fees are minimal for them. the admission fees remains the same but the semester fees are waya less than othrrs which makes it feasible for students who are poor
Campus Life
Excellent diversity. Everyone is equal, political participation is not entertained here. Workshops on different topics are conducted and a lot of clubs you can look forward to in the college. The college is generous enough on fests and social activities.
Alumni/Alumna
Yes, the seniors are helpful with exception of course. The alumni network is great with students putting forward their service in different part of the world. No ragging in the campus which means a lot for the freshers
Admission
After wbjee there was a counselling where you have to fill the options. Based on the availability of setas and your rank and choices by other students you can get a seat in the desired stream of yours. After that you have to personally come nad verify your details then admission formalities are carried out.
Faculty
However qualified they maybe, aome faculties are really really poor. Few are really helpfull but the number is a bit depressing. None syllabus is completed in any semester and no class is a thing so so common in techno india. The students have to google to get their concept clear. Basically terrible teaching in the college.
