Remarks

The overall remark would be positive. My university is one of the cleanest in India and is diverse. It is good in acedamics and other activities too like sports, workshops and fests. It has all different type of courses

Course Curriculum Overview

The course is all about the literature that we had in the past and we have now. It includes half year exams. You have some content to be a researcher in this field. The field is vast and exams aren't too hectic till now.

Placement Experience

Well in my course, there are no such companies that hire literature students. So there are no such job placements that the course provides. But you can be a research scholar and also clear NET exam and be a professor.

College Events

Youth festivals and other kind of events keep happening in my university. For now, we have basant festival approaching to celebrate the coming of spring. The participation is huge in all such fest.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fee in this course is almost negligible. The students need to pay a small amount of 8000 rupees per year and 500 rupees as exams fee twice a year which is too low as compared to other colleges or universities

Fees and Financial Aid

I have no such information about the loan facility but I heard about the scolarship that one can avail after graduation but he needs to clear some test and then has chance of studying at oxford. The one student who scores highest marks in all 5years gets a job as professor in the same course

Campus Life

The girls are more as compared to boys. In a class of 30 students we have approximately 17-18 girls and 12-13 boys. We do have a literary society and workshops take place every 2-3 months. Students in this course comes from foreign too

Alumni/Alumna

The seniors are a source of valuable information. They help with whatever they can. They provide notes and other stuff related to the course. Sometimes they also tell about the teachers that he is strict or not etc.

Admission

Enterance exam was conducted and then in the councling the top students were taken to be a part of this course. The course includes information about literature, writers and their great works. I always had an fascination towards english so I took this course

The faculty that that teaches us is quite experienced and have a lot of knowledge to give. The professors here are much eager to provide every help to the students. Sometimes research scholars also teach us as a part of their exams

My Overall Experience at college has been very positive.

Placement Experience:

I feel pretty secure about my career because our training opens door that normal degrees just can't match. Our seniors land roles as risk analysts and foreign policy researchers, even secruing great spots at top think tanks right after graduation. Some even interned at Niiti Consulting, and others got into ShowTime Consulting and Stimuler. Seeing people land roles at Lead Tech and the BCG Graduate Apprenticeship Program gives me massive confidence for placements.

I liked the infrastructure of the college .
I like the way of teaching and the faculties are absloutely good.
Also we are able to converse with our teachers anytime we feel to as they are always ready to help us

There is not that thing that I disliked till now.
Everything is good in this university. Nothing is bad

Placement Experience:

This college provides placements to those who are well deserved to this. Students who do well in their academics and crack the interview are provided with the college placements. Highest package is around 56lpa from btech cse

My overall experience at JGU has been very positive.

Placement Experience:

I feel so relieved my seniors because our job placements had so much variety. I love that JSPC doesn't just box us into one specific career path. I saw huge consulting firms like PwC UK and BCG hiring right next to tech names like Zomato, OneBanc, and Kanerika. I also noticed great roles at places like Bal Raksha Bharat and Mom's Belief for anyone wanting to do advocacy, psychology, or therapy. I honestly feel like my career can go anywhere now.

The Faculty of JGU highly qualified, my overall experience at JGU has been execellent.

Placement Experience:

At JGU, the Office of Career Services puts a lot of effort into preparing us for the competitive industry in digital media, podcasts, investigative reporting, multimedia storytelling, and data journalism. We have an exceptional alumni network with students who have graduated from our college and become political reports at The Hindu or media consultants for the UAE-India council, or even bagged the role of anchors at NewX and ET TV. The intense training that we get makes us ready for the industry. The institution helps us a great deal in shaping our resumes.

Overall Experience at JGU has been very positive.

Placement Experience:

Thinking about life after graduation used to completely stress me out, but the office of Career Services here really takes the pressure off. They work right alongside us from the 1st year to fix up our resumes, practice interviews, and figure out what we actually want to do. Whether you want to jump straight into corporate communications, digital media, creative writing, or head off to a great international university for your master's, the support here gives you a massive head start. Seeing my seniors land great roles makes me feel so much better about my own future.

JGU is delightful place!!

Likes

JGU Campus can match any international campus as it is that kind of a campus.
We have a sports stadium inside the university and nearly 20 sports facilities are included within.
Campus offers a splendid night life as well as students here can be seen roaming at the campus till 2 am as it is new normal here.

Dislikes

Most students here are not so serious about studies here as they are rich brats.
Intenrships we still have to find on our own as college doesn't provide from their end.

Placement Experience:

EY, JP Morgan, Morgan Stanley and all other companies which defies international economics are the ones which recruits students of JGU. Theh even conduct seminars and workshops and tells us the things which we need to add in our arsenal to be fit and ready for placements. Jindal Students of Economics easily score placements worth 5-7 lakhs and nearly all the students who wish for placements gets it too.

I want to become a IAS officer. Arts stream is the best way to achieve my dream job. Thats why i choose this stream over others. Exam level is easy to moderate. Sometimes question repeats in the question paper.

Likes

I really like the faculty because the faculty is renowned
I also like the freedom of choosing your major
I also like the diversity among the students

Dislikes

I don’t like pollution because of region in NCR
Sometimes you might feel homesick or left out
Too many rich people makes you feel left out

Placement Experience:

The placements rate at Ashoka is 100% though majority of students chose to go for further studies either abroad or prestigious Indian colleges. But if you want to sit for placement Ashoka will make sure you well trained and able to present your true self.
