The college is ragging free. The college has desirable amount of professors and phD scholars. The college make students to be prepared for interviews and upcoming exams. The college conducts semimars and meetings.
Course Curriculum Overview
Biotechnology is an emerging course and field. The research area for this subject is very vast. The college provides good knowledge in practical labs. Also there are additional workshops(paid) under experts.
Placement Experience
The placement and phd opportunities are quite good.though the college doesnt provide with internships. Although the students can take any out campus internships during the break provided. The students generally takes internships during breaks.
College Events
There are total college fest ie kiit fest which also include individual college fests. The fest for ksbt is kination. The fest is considered as one of the biggest college fest. There are celebrities invited in each day of the fest.
Fee Structure And Facilities
The fee structure fir 5 year course is quite high.The fee structure for biotechnology department is comparatively higher than other engineering course. This could me probably mainly due to the courrse of 6 years are concise in 5 years.
Fees and Financial Aid
You will be provided with a form for loan, at start from college. The forms are provided during the admission time itself. The forms are provided with proper information and about the fee structures and it's rough idea.
Campus Life
The extracurricular access provided by college are also good. There are groups and teams for sports, dance, singing and other activities. The campus also has its own gym, football courts,cricket ground and other spaces.
Hostel Facilities
The hostels provided are quite good,but there are only options for two beded ac, three beded ac and three beded non ac. The food provided are edible but not for regular basis. The accommodation are quite good.
Alumni/Alumna
Yes, seniors are helpful and friendly. The campus is ragging free and seniors and juniors works and participate co parallely. The alumni meet are also there. The phD aspirants and students helps us in the labs and classes.
Admission
There was an entrance exam for admission. Then we were sorted on based of marks and ranking. We were called at college with our parents and were enlightened about the subject duration course subject basics research. It also has its own tbi.Tbi gives platform for all those aspirants who has dreams for their own startups.
Faculty
The faculties are quite friendly. Also students are provided with their mentors.The mentors takes a regular information about their mentees. Even the mentors keeps a relation with the parents. The parents if any doubt can contact the respective mentors.
