Remarks

The most things you will hear for this college is that it's very strict.there is no life for students here.Students are forced to sit for lectures with their attendance criteria. Yaa these things are true but it really is not that much that people speak of. It is a combination of strictness and decipline. Its not that there's no life for students. Students are allowed to play after lectures which most of the college don't allow. Also during events there's lot of entertainment for students. Its not only about enjoying. its about studies plus entertainment. College is college although however it may be you will always remember it when you leave it.

Course Curriculum Overview

3.5

However if you choose any field the first year syllabus does not contain any of your core subjects. It will contain other subjects like physics, chemistry, mechanics, Bee.Don't know why these subjects are part of curriculum as after graduation these subjects are of no use. However from 2nd year you will have all the core subjects.

Placement Experience

3.5

Almost 80% of the students do get placed. Average package per year of the college is greater than 3 l.p.a.Companies like LTI, Jio, Infosys, Capgemini do come. In case of internships they do not give so much attention but ya if you insist you will get one.

College Events

1.5

There are many extracurricular activities that take place during the Iris fest and the mosaic fest. Iris, Mosaic, Pragati These are some events that take place in our college. Iris is a cultural fest where all the fun takes place. Mosaic and Pragati are technical fests where one can showcase his technical talent by making different kinds of projects.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fees per year in St. Francis Institute of Technology is 108000 approximately. It's mediocre as your get many facilities in this college. But i think if you get scholarships you can take admission at a very low price.

Fees and Financial Aid

I don't have a good idea about the scholarship schemes and the loan facilities but many students who are unable to pay the fees on the time due to any financial problems can speak to the director of the college who can help you regarding your problems.

Alumni/Alumna

The alumni association or committee was recently introduced in our college, many students joined the committee. There are other committees like the IEEE, CSI, ISTE in our college which conduct many extracurricular activities and seminar for the betterment of the students. Even the senior students are really helpful

Admission

They considered my 12th grade marks plus the marks I got in JEE mains exams. I choose computer cause nowadays it has scope over other courses like electronics and mechanics. The guys doing extc however end up doing the same IT jobs

Faculty

3

Teachers are well experienced. almost every teacher are ready to solve your doubts. However you cannot expect to understand each and every teachers concept as a normal human you cannot understand the learnings of each and every person but if there are more complaints about the particular faculty it will most likely be replaced with other one.

The campus placement is decent in the college as compare to other colleges of the city . many companies visited the college every year to hire the skillful engineers from the college and offer them a good amount of package. The option of the offcampus palcement is also there for the students of the other colleges.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Soo ever since kid i was interested in bikes this interest was all for me to take this course , my father is very bike enthusiast and it came down to me , i could easily take mechanical and other engineering cause these are common courses which involves automobile , but since i wanted to follow my passion , i wanted to do specialization in automobile itself and DPCOE was offering this course with great facilities and knowledge providing us a path in this lane of career in this field. According to me curriculum prepares us quite well as they conduct workshop which are relevant to outside world where we'll be working. If there were more practical workshops for us to work on would be great cause automobile engineering is all about practicals rather than theoroticals Professor should try teaching in physical part rather than taking lectures and explaining the concept by just words

Yes there is placement cell of STES which is no different than other tier 3 engineering colleges offering a tier 3 average package depending on who is the recruiter. Students become eligible for campus from 3rd year of their degree. Highest package is something around 55 lakhs offered to a computer engineering student, and average is just like I said for a tier 3 college 5-6 lakhs(above or below). Almost everyone gets placed in the company but some might not.
