Course Curriculum Overview

4.5

Well, the course is planned by staff the last date of submission of your fee come before the exam and if you are unable to pay the fee then you wouldn't be allowed to sit in an exam. The whole semester keeps you busy. First, there will be assignments the test then again assignments and another test and then again assignments after that the final exam and you are done with the semester.

Placement Experience

1

For mechanical, the list of companies is too short one is KP reliable, Gurugram and the other one was just some local institute who teaches about design. But for computer science, they have a good number of companies in there contact.

College Events

1.5

There is fresher for which they take Rs500 from each student and same for farewell and in between there is techno-versa where the main attraction is the star night but they have unable to get good stars for the show. Then there's also the sport's meet where it is rare for other colleges to come.

Fee Structure And Facilities

For me, I fall under the EWS category for which they supported me. Otherwise, it was one lac ten thousand a year or fifty-five thousand a semester well if you want fee- breakdown then they will provide you with every detail. When it comes to the fee collection the college is a pro in that. There are no additional fee charges but you will be charged for examination fee and other programs they conduct.

Fees and Financial Aid

This college offered me a scholarship under which I don't have to pay the tuition fee. They provide all different type of scholarship and also for the student who came first in their branch will be given 25% off on fee but you avail only one scholarship

Campus Life

3

There extra lecturer for English improvement and for that they have a very good teacher who helps you in coming out of the cocune and also the mechanical labs also fully functional although some of them are just too bad like DOM lab, CAD lab etc. But for that, you have to sit in a lab doing nothing.

Alumni/Alumna

Seniors are good they friendly they are like come, brother, we are suffering from the same problem here and they also describe us how our next semester is going to happen.

Admission

Getting admission is not that tough. You just have to visit college. It was recommended to me by a friend who was my senior and from the same branch. Well, he was like "Mechanical engineering is an evergreen branch". The statement is right but it is very tough to get a good job after mechanical.

Faculty

3.5

The faculty has both pros and cons it all depends on the relationship you have maintained with the lecturer. Each subject is given maximum 40lectures and minimum of 15 lectures in the whole semester. All the staff is working there for quite a long time. Some lecturer is just too good that you will understand everything then some lecturer is too bad that you will not understand even a single word.

Placement Experience:

Companies start coming summer internships in the 5th and 6th semester though ,CG cuts are imposed so very less students are elgible to sit for these companies, The real placement season is 7th and 8th semester and many companies visit campus for placements. around 60 percent students got placed in the recent placement drive. The major recruiters are: Oracle, CISCO, JPMC,Deloite,IBM,ZS etc.

Placement Experience:

Students generally become eligible for placement from 7th semester, with numerous major companies like wipro, cognizant and various tech startups visit the campus with various offers. The university sees a high percentage of students getting placed. The package are widely depending on various skill and codes. Furthermore while the highest package looks impressive on paper, the avg package remains modest for the majority of the batch. My personal plans after getting the degree focus on exploring independent entrepreneurial ventures rather than tradition corporate placement.

Placement Experience:

Placements are not that good. Although companies come, there is a lack of mass recruiters or reputed organizations. One has to grind hard here for placements. If you're a CS student, you will have to face immense competition here. As for core branches, placements are severely dry. Students gets eligible in 4th year onwards for placements. Some of recruiters here are Trident, TCS, Reliance, Sonalika and other few. Every company offers around 10-15 selected students for a job. Highest package ever was 15LPA and average is 3.2LPA. Percentage placed is only around 15% here. My plans after the degree are to apply for govt exams.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The interest in coding influenced me to choose this subject and course. The curriculum gets me ready for a 9-5 job which kind of gets hectic. The teachers could maybe schedule classes to give the students time to study what they want to and if they wish to do a course outside the university they have the time to do so rather than just going by the university curriculum
