Remarks

Arunai engineering college is very good college in terms of its infrastructure and hostel facilitates they provide to students but with only good infrastructure will won't help students in achieving their goals, I was deeply wounded in many streams once

Entrance Preview

TNPCEE entrance examination held on 2006 its conducted by Anna University under which one can able to get seat in either in ANNA UNIVERSITY or its affiliation colleges in tamil nadu,i got valuable score in the entrance exam conducted by TNPCEE, based upon which i was called for counselling in anna univ chennai ,where i opted for mechanical engineering seat in arunai engineering college which is one of affiliated college to ANNA UNIVERSITY CHENNAI.

Internships Opportunities

No companies came for intern ship, my experience in my college is very bad since no companies came for intern ship or placements I suffered a lot once after finishing my graduation from my college, its very worst thing in my life

Placement Experience

1

Regarding placement we are the one who was badly affected by 2009 recision which impacts globally ,slowdown in recruitment. My college also suffered from placements. Hardly 120 people got placed in IT sector , I am from mechanical background so none of the software preferred us. Finally one bpo concern came for mechanical and electrical engineering students. So in my point of view there is hardly no placements provided for mechanical engineers in my college

College Events

2

Yes ,we do have cultural and symposium subjected to various departments ,for mechanical department we have FORGE event which will be organised every year colleges from tamil nadu participate in it and we do have many cultural program, we use to spend approximately 5 lakhs for organizing this event.funds are collected from students as well from management

Fee Structure And Facilities

Its not feasible ,its quite expensive they claimed rupees 1 lakh for my first year including tuition fees, mess fees ,hostel fees management infrastructure development fees.

Fees and Financial Aid

Education loan are available for students who come from poor background who cant afford the fees.my family being well good enough to support my studies without having any loan for my studies at arunai engineering college

Campus Life

4

Its so evergreen in my memories, i wish i could have my college life once again. Campus is full of vibrant Korean grass and the college infrastructure is very good based upon overall quality labs. we do have many sport events both in state level and inter district level. There is no etnicity race and sexual orientation because college is very strict ,even we are not allowed to speak with girls inside our campus.

Hostel Facilities

4

Hostel and canteen were worth of for the fees what i paid..hostel rooms wre quite clean .i use to stay in 4 members sharing room ..food provided in my college is best so far i could hear from any of its surrounding colleges

Alumni/Alumna

There is no such kind of activity in our college. There is alumni association started by my seniors but as long the years go away people are quite busy in their day today life activities rather than having in touch with ex students.

Exam Structure

Exams come very often i.e. class test to cyclic test to university examinations and so on, in-between we have to do practicals.

Faculty

3

Subjects handled by my college faculty were not good enough. Many of faculty doesn't have strong knowledge on teaching experience so i admit its a normal college where you can learn write and pass in exams

I would rate the curriculum 4/5. It is relevant and fairly comprehensive, covering core concepts, practical sessions, projects, and industry-oriented topics. However, more hands-on training and updated industry technologies could make it even better.

In our University from the starting of Seventh semester we are eligible for campus placements. Campanies like Jubilant food works, Zifo Technologies, Amura Heath Pvt.Ltd, Biocon etc. were some of the companies that visited our campus. Around fifty students got offers from these companies. About 70 percentage of the students got placements successfully. I am planning to pursue a master degree abroad

Placement Experience:

From the very entry into your third year, you will be eligible to most of the placements. The training provided is very exquisite and some of the trainings start as early as 1st year. 2026 highest package was 55LPA. Many companies like from product companies like Microsoft, Capgemini to service based companies like TCS, INFOSYS etc.. visit our campus for regular placements. About 98% of people placed as far as I have heard.
