Remarks

The college is best college i have by far seen and heard i study here and i know the university internally that makes this review a strong point why you should Choose Lovely professional university the university has international student studying in the college too which gives excellent opportunity to lovely professional university student to have cultural experience exchange

Course Curriculum Overview

The Course Curriculum of the university is best in respect of both Theory and Practical ways the university labs are equipped with best and latest equipment the university has MAC lab for student to carry on there research it has libraries that are free to access by all the student and faculty of the university, And its not only this the university is known for its extra curriculum activities it has events that happens all over the semester. we the student of Lovely Professional University are evaluated in many components 1.Attendance 2.Continuous Assessment (CA)--class test 3.Mid-Term 4.End-Term

Placement Experience

The university has a placement and training cell that helps student to excel in the recruitment drives where every student is trained about all the basic of the interview and placement. About 78% of students are placed in my course. The lowest package offered to my dept. is 2.6 Lacs and the highest package is 42.2 Lacs. Amazon Google and many more company comes to LPU to conduct placement drive. About 74% of students get internship. During my 2 year i got a internship at company in Delhi where my stipend was 7000 per month for 3 months the internship provided by the university are so helpful for the student to have real life cooperate experience that help me Choose my minor and major subject combination.

College Events

we have so many events that happen in the campus 1.YouthVibe (youthvibe is one the biggest youth festive in the campus where student from different university participate in different category of the event its has highest number of participants and audience) 2.One India (a event that highlight the inheritance of India where every Blocks of the university is assigned with the state to represent its a event that lets student to experience the how incredible India is on a small scale in its own university) 3.One world ( in this event different blocks are assigned with different country to repqrest basic idea of this event is to show unity in diversity it helps student to get a glimpse of the world ) 4.Spectra ( a event that is famous for all the literacy lover since it contains event like debate essay writing competition etc ) 5.Fashion Hunt etc

Fee Structure And Facilities

the fee structure of Lovely Professional University are Feasible since we have so many scholarship available one of which is LPUNEST its a scholarship test that help student to make there fees low and feasible

LPUNEST its a scholarship test conducted by the university that helps many of us student to make our fees feasible the university also assist student on loan facility by providing loan letters and assisting student through out the process

Campus Life

LPU is a big university. It provides good infrastructure like Wi-Fi, hospital, grounds, library and mac lab are some labs where we can enhance our knowledge. LPU is the biggest university in India with 600 acres of the campus area. It has a big auditorium

Hostel Facilities

I stay in PG near the college since i am not habit of sharing my room i prefer staying in PG the hostel i heard from my friend are good with excellent security, food courts, canteen, hostel student have 24 hour of library access and much more facility.

we have a Alumni cell that conducts many reunion event such as homecoming, guest lecture,story telling,with the seniors that help us get some real life experience of the outer world after graduation

Admission

i got admission based on my Merit in qualifying examination, i was the diploma student in the same university (Lovely professional University) batch-2016 after my diploma i wanted to study further and since i know the university has best resources so i choose to study my B.TECH-CSE in lovely professional university itself.

Faculty

They are highly qualified since college authority conduct multiple interview rounds before recruiting a faculty to make sure the student gets the best teacher faculty is one of the reason i am still studying in the college they are friendly and helpful in all manners

Likes

The infrastructure is great with state of the art labs and equipment
The library is really nice place to study
Lots of hangout spots in and around campus

Dislikes

Less opportunities for core branches as less core companies visit campus
75 percent attendance policy for classes
Very high fees compared to other colleges

Placement Experience:

Companies start coming summer internships in the 5th and 6th semester though ,CG cuts are imposed so very less students are elgible to sit for these companies, The real placement season is 7th and 8th semester and many companies visit campus for placements. around 60 percent students got placed in the recent placement drive. The major recruiters are: Oracle, CISCO, JPMC,Deloite,IBM,ZS etc.

The Scholarship benefit is good when compared to other universities the fee is also not very huge.The Infrastructure of the campus was vast and there arelots of stall to purchase food items etc
There is a big mall through which You can get necessary items .In every hostel you will have departmental stores
The faculty was highly qualified. The Placements opportunities are also good The average was offered was 5-6 LPA.The Lpu newly Launched Education Revolution is very good for students

Dislikes

The mandatory 75% attendance policy for every subject.If you not maintain you will debar from End term examinations which is not all good
The Roads are not that much good .The roads are made of parking tiles instead of Thar
The distance between hostels and main gates are nearly 1.5 -2 km which not at all good .but there e-rickshaw they charge 15 rupees per person to drop from hostel to main gate

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course cirriculum changes every year by rapid changes happening due to AI The University has also launched a new school called School of AI and emerging technologies.from this every year syllabus changesand exams pattern changes .the difficulty of exams is increasing day by day.

Inside NITJ- Beyond the Brochure

Likes

There are 1 AC Lecture complex()LT with almost a seating capacity of 100-120 students, with smart screens and projector.
NITJ has well maintained 4 Girls hostel and 4-5 boys hostels with proper cleanliness and hostel staff.
They are 7 cafeterias in the Campus, including 3 Nescafe outlets,1 dominos and 3 regular canteens that serve food late night.

Dislikes

Wifi and connection issues in the hostels
Slow response to emails and late approval to applications
The ICE department faculty is quite strict. Tough grading system and administration.

Placement Experience:

NITJ has a placement cell, also known as the Centre of Training and Placements(TPO office of NITJ). The placement scenes differ depending on the courses offered. The average placements are 12-14LPA in the Computer Science branch. Every year, hundreds of companies, including Pvt and govt both. PSUs like HPCL and BPCL recruit students based on merit and academic excellence.

The environment of the college is so nice, helpful staff, AC labs for CS deptt.

Distance of travelling coz for me its too much far
Nothing as of now everything was good enough

- Limited campus opportunities were available, and most students become eligible from the final year. - The average package was around 2-5 LPA. - after my degree my plan is to improve my employability my strengthening my technical skill in my domain

From 7th sem students become eligible for campus placements and tata or Infosys companies visited and about 60 to 70 percent students were placed and my plans after getting the degree is to opt for higher studies doing mtech from iit

Good infrastructure, campus and faculty. Have to improve placements and industrial visits.

Likes

The campus is very green and clean. Infrastructure is good and one can feel fresh air here in campus
The faculty is excellent, almost all of the professors and assistant professors have a degree from renowned institutes. So they know their subject and field very well.
Hostels are good and affordable. Although the hostels itself are old, services are good and you get a nice room for the price/rent

Dislikes

The crowd isn't good. Always demotivated to do anything productive regarding studies. Some people are just here for time-pass
Very less site and outdoor visits. For practical experience, they should conduct industrial visits, but that happens rarely
Placements are really Dry and there is decline in company visits for placement.

Placement Experience:

Placements are not that good. Although companies come, there is a lack of mass recruiters or reputed organizations. One has to grind hard here for placements. If you're a CS student, you will have to face immense competition here. As for core branches, placements are severely dry. Students gets eligible in 4th year onwards for placements. Some of recruiters here are Trident, TCS, Reliance, Sonalika and other few. Every company offers around 10-15 selected students for a job. Highest package ever was 15LPA and average is 3.2LPA. Percentage placed is only around 15% here. My plans after the degree are to apply for govt exams.

The sports and the various facilities that they provide for relaxing
The Library that remains open till 10-11 at night for those who wish to study till late
Great mentors and very helpful teachers who are always willing to help

Dislikes

The hectic schedule and curriculum that the students have to follow.
The lack of certain facilities that would help the students improve thoer personalities
Too much strictness and restrictions with everything that someone wishes to do

Course Curriculum Overview:

The interest in coding influenced me to choose this subject and course. The curriculum gets me ready for a 9-5 job which kind of gets hectic. The teachers could maybe schedule classes to give the students time to study what they want to and if they wish to do a course outside the university they have the time to do so rather than just going by the university curriculum
