The college management is working hard to improve the infrastructure and quality of the college. I would say this would be one of the top colleges in the upcoming years.
Course Curriculum Overview
They try to to import knowledge in you. If you have some interest in the subject,the staff and lab faculties will help you by all means. Even if students don't have interest in some subjects,they make them learn very well. This is the way academic score is consistent.
Placement Experience
College allocated internships for us in the second year itself. It was a good experience. Most of the student who enrolled in the placement training classes got placed. Institute brought external trainers to help us prepare for interviews.
College Events
We have a cultural fest called takshasila which happens once in a year for a 3 day period. Technical events such as symposium occur once in a year and many conferences take place where many leading personalities attend and share their thoughts about what they expect from students.
Fee Structure And Facilities
Compared to other private colleges, the fee structure is comparatively low and the money invested is more than worth it if you know how to utilise the facilities they provide. There are many centres of Excellence which are available for students. There are some additional charges for hostel and mess.
Fees and Financial Aid
I opt for a scholarship still I had a good percentage in 12 and had a good cutoff score. There was a 50% reduction in my overall fee
Campus Life
The campus life is good if you are a hosteller you can avail all sports facilities. There is an awesome grass ground where I love to play football. The gender ratio is around 3:1. There are various clubs which organise competitions from time to time.
Alumni/Alumna
The alumni of the college are well connected. We have a very brotherly Bond with seniors and juniors too. We have a separate official group in WhatsApp where we all remain connected.
Admission
I opted for this course as I had an interest in electrical and electronics engineering. I heard it was a developing Institute, my father visited and he liked the college, he suggested me to visit the college. I spoke with the staff and chairman, I liked everyone and I chose to join here. Admission process is similar to all affiliated colleges under Anna University.
Faculty
Faculties are very well knowledged. Some professors have published their own books in their specific subjects. They will be very supportive in case you are trying to publish papers in conferences, they help you in attending project competitions and hackathons.
