Course Curriculum Overview
The curriculum here provided are perfectly curated by professionals, aluminis and other academic leaders. The content will be well relatable, easy to understand and it is framed in such a way that every level of students can understand it easily. Also we learn in a practical way rather than focusing on theory.
Internships Opportunities
The college provides multiple oppourtunities for students and also they helps to get internships at various companies and institututions like NIT, IITs and other government institutions. It is both stipend based and also non stipend based. They helps us to build multiple project which is included in our academic syllabus that boost our resume's quality.
Placement Experience
CIT mainly renowned for its placements. From the first semester itself, the placement upskilling will be started that will be useful for focusing on placements from the start. The highest, lowest and the average package here is 60 LPA, 4 LPA, and 6 LPA respectively. The average percentage of students placed here is 95.
Fees and Financial Aid
My total college fees is 2.5 lakhs inclusion of hostel and tuition fees. As an hosteller the hostel fees is 1.15 lakhs with laundry. We have to pay for semester fees, lab fees, cultural fees and other fees. Our college also provides scholarship for students who scores more than 190 cutoff in the 12th exam, it may be from full concession to partial according to the marks.
Campus Life
The overall culture of this college is somewhat like a corporate culture. Even though our college primarily focuses on academics and placements, they also conducts cultural events and other in between events that helps students to balance their studies and also enjoys their college life
Hostel Facilities
Our college provides hostel for both girls and boys. The hostel rooms are well maintained and the hostel warden and the helpers are available in most of the time. Now, the hostel can accomodate up to 4000 people including both boys and girls. It has AC facilities too but it will be charged separately. They also provides laundry which will be 10000/year. It is on the weekly basis. The food here will be okayish and it has sort of fixed menu.
Admission
I applied to many colleges through TNEA. I kept CIT as 19th choice. Although I got this college in a random way, I felt I'm in the right place where skill development, student wellness and innovative mindset is always promoted. For CSE the government quota cutoff is 190 plus.
Faculty
The faculties here are supportive and they provides the neccesary resources and training to upgrow ourself. Each department has sufficient number of faculties so that the students will get visibility among each others and perfect guidance. The ratio of the faculty to student ratio is 1:12. There will daily morning tests based on the content taught before and there will be 2 internal exams, 1 model exam and semester. There will be university practise class which will be held for 10 days that helps to revise all the academic contents before the model and semester.
Night Life
Our college have gym, stationery, many canteens inside the campus. Hostellers can come in and out after 6 am and before 6 pm. These helps the hostellers and other students to have a healthy and happy environment.
