Course Curriculum Overview
Journalism is a professional course. So here the faculties focus on practical knowledge and skills more than the bookish ones. Exams are held thrice per semester, 2 mid seems and one Final all the papers are totally based upon the practical knowledge.
Placement Experience
The internship program at this university starts in the last semester. Seniors have gone to Many prominent media houses like ETV Bharat for an internship even for placements NDTV DELHI, NEWS18 NEW DELHI, MYFM CHANDIGARH has come here and hired many students.
College Events
In this college, all kinds of fests and events are organised. Each month awaits for a different surprise. Tech Invent, CU Fests are held annually. DJ nights, Tashan Nites where popular DJs, actors and singers come here. Students work as coordinators and some of the students from our department cover the whole event.
Fee Structure And Facilities
It is a private institute so the fees are somewhat reasonable here. You won't get any problem in paying the fees all the modes are available here like the offline, online, card. Even they tell you everything about the fees, why they're asking for this fee and why it's important.
Fees and Financial Aid
Different kinds of scholarship can be availed and concession is accordingly. The process is easy you just have to fill a firm enclosing some required documents that's it.
Campus Life
Here you can find all kinds of people you can meet and interact with them. All of them are so kind they welcome everyone, does not discriminate you or anything. Here everyone accepts diversity and choices. They respect your space. Boys are here in huge number but girls are also here it's like 60:40 ratio.
Alumni/Alumna
All the seniors or alumni would help you. I've met many alumni they always take out their time to guide you.
Admission
After receiving emails from this university I got interested in taking admission in this university. I contacted an agent and they helped me out through this. I wanted to opt for this course as I was interested in writing and current affairs. The whole admission process was easy, the staffs always help you out.
Faculty
The student-teacher ratio is quite good, around 20:1, so, if anyone has a problem can contact the teacher and they always help them out. All the faculties are skilled and experienced in their own fields have their own research papers published. They give us the exposure of real industry and how to work there.
