Remarks

As a government college, it is best. The teachers are very good and expert in their subjects. The system is good so far. But they have maintained cleanliness in classrooms. There are water problems in the toilet sometimes. As a women's college they should extra care to sanitation. The toilets are dirty sometimes and water problems.

Course Curriculum Overview

4

The course is nice and it is a live science course. The exam structure is very well planned there are 2 sem exams in a year. There are practical's exams for each sem. There are sufficient holidays between the exam to prepare.

Our college will celebrate many events such as talents week, nudi habba etc. In talents week there are many contests in which students can participate and show their talents. There are prizes for each contest. In nudi habba there are many such programs where they will students.

Fee Structure And Facilities

During the admission, we have to pay Rs 4200 for a year. Expect that there is no fee for a whole year. We have to rs 850 as exam fees in each year. As it is a government college there are no extra fees. Our college also has fees concession depending on caste.

Fees and Financial Aid

As a first-year student still I don't know about scholarships as we are not provided with any scholarships. But 2nd and 3rd-year students have a scholarship. If they pass all the exams at once then they get bach their exam fees as scholarship.

Extracurricular activities are so good there is ncc, nss. There are many cultural activities. The labs are very good. There are so many specimens in our labs to study and understand. There is a good opportunity for sportsperson as the college will conduct many sports activity intercollege competitions.

Alumni/Alumna

As far as I know, all the senior students will help us. They will help me in lab activities. They will tell us about college systems, rules, exams, fests, etc. They will help us out whenever needed. They will provide their notes, records for reference.

Direct admission. There is a direct admission in our college. There is no interview or merit. One can get admission to our college directly based on their percentage of marks in their PUC. Admission will take place in one day as there is no interview. We have to provide our pu marks card, sslc marks card, income and caste certificate, bank passbook xerox during admission.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Semester 4, my course included the concepts of Radioactivity which has been a fascinating topic for me, and wanting to learn that aspect pf chemistry was a reason that lead me to choose this course. the curriculum is not sufficient or up to date for current further academic pursuits. the course curriculum should include more scientific instruments commonly used in labs and the teachers could preferably be more positive with their attitude and create an atmosphere where learning is chased. where the teaching doesn't feel like they're just doing their job and finishing their hours by reading ppts off a laptop. the exams themselves are fair and well prepared. perfectly balanced to score based on how much you've learnt.

Course Curriculum Overview:

There wasn't really any. It was mostly the friendliness of the profs that pulled me into maths. Do note that in IISc, the first three semesters are common and you pick majors after that. The maths curriculum prepares you for a future in either industry or academia. Moreover, one can take courses in other departments to help their industry pursuits. Only way would be to make some courses more interactive, but this hasn't been a problem for me personally. Most high level courses have two exams. Sometimes not even that. And exams generally aren't difficult for someone who has kept up with the course.

Placement Experience:

Our university has a training and placement office for the fourth and fifth year students. Before that you need to find internship opportunities yourself. The significant companies include EY, MoSpi, RBI, NSE etc. The is around 50% placements. The highest package was around 40 lakhs and the lowest 5 lakhs. I plan on working in the RBI after my degree.
