Remarks

Good remarks is that college campus is soo good also the teacher is good. And the college canteen and lab are also good. Only problem is drinking water. Sometimes there are so much problem due to lack of drinking water and also the classroom are too old that need to be repaired soon. That's it.

Placement Experience

1

I go to the college since 3years.but i can't even hear about a single placement done by college authorities. They just give you certification for your degree after that it's your choice.

College Events

2.5

Freshers celebration. Then all cultural programs held in college. Also some competition are held there and Annual sports and Function. Also some events held from NRC group and also from College union. Also some tour held for educational tour mainly for bsc bio departments.

Fee Structure And Facilities

All over it's a medium range fees structure. But the computer science course fees is quite expensive. Although it's normal for a graduation college. First they take some money for provisional admission then they take course fees with laboratory charge and included some cultural programe charge also after that final exam fees for cu. All over its moderate fees.

Fees and Financial Aid

No i haven't take any educational loan because for graduation in under cu the course fees is not so much expensive so i can't take any loan. Although A scholarship will gave for scoring 70% marks in Matriculation level from west bengal govt.

Campus Life

3

Gender ratio is not equal. Men's rate is higher than women's. Because it's a evening college. Some competition will be held like annual sports also some extracurricular like table tennis etc. But this is a evening college so extracurricular activities is less than day college.

Hostel Facilities

4.5

No i can't in a hostel. I go to college from my house daily. Although there is some hostel nearby but that's not belong to our college. Some private hostel is there for hsotel students. Average rental fees is not so much expensive.

Alumni/Alumna

Yes they are so much helpful. They help us out for any quaries any other course realted and college related documents.

Admission

1st check the least admission no for form. Then they selected from high grade to low grade then they hang a list of the students who are selected then admission process continue.1st they take money for your seat booking then after someday they take money for your course after that CU examination course fees.and the process goes continues for next year till passout.

Placement Experience:

People who major in my department usually opt for masters over placement not because of this college but because overall industrial or academic opportunities are better with a pg degree. Masters from this college is not recommended as i have heard so from my seniors. Some of my seniors managed to crack competitives and secure MSc seats at great places. Training and Placement cell had a good coordinator previously but now its almost non existent. Companies do come and hire Bpharm, Mpharm and MSc candidates. Packages are below average. Only Nestle pays well. But if you do well you'll eventually climb up the corportate ladder. From the time i am here i have not heard of any BSc candidate getting placed. Most go for higher studies.

Placement Experience:

The average package offered for such roles ranges between ?2–3 LPA, while the highest package offered to a BSc student is around ?4 LPA, depending on skills and specialization. Overall, around 15–20% of BSc students get placed through campus drives, and many students rely on off-campus opportunities.

The course is very relevant as it provides us an overall knowledge of biology and not dividing it into various sections rather giving us an insight of every aspect of biology. It includes everything such as microbiology, zoology, botany, physiology, molecular biology and so on.

Completely relevant. As the college is autonomous it has its own syllabus. Which matches with the net gate jam exam syllabus. When someone came our college for seminar they strange that we know this much. Exam are quite difficult in 2 months interval.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum was well thought out as per me but there were subjects that i found absolutely unnecessary. Subjects like history evs and clc were in no way related to my course. Coming to the main subjects Design, Printing, Photography and film and Media Training were absolutely necessary for my course and whilst the faculty for some of these subjects were really bad, some were good. It is also important to mention none of these subjects actually helped us prepare for the real world. Instead internships and freelance helped us more than these subjects could ever do. Exams were held bi monthly to keep track of what we learnt and every 6 months we had our semester exams. Overall if you want to be a media professional INTERNSHIPS AND JOBS WILL HELP YOU MORE THAN A COLLEGE WILL. I am biased on this opinion as my college didnt provide me with the correct guidance and support i needed to make it in the real world.

Placement Experience:

In case of computer science department, placement is provided at the Last year of M.sc course. Many companies like Wipro, b10x, Tata visited here. Highest package ever is three lakh per annum. 20-40% of the students got placement after completing M.Sc computer science. My plan after B.sc is to pursue MCA.

Course Curriculum Overview:

* It's all about practical knowledge, we are getting from this course and another aspect is if you wants to make your career in research or lecturer then you should go for it. *No changes required in teaching methods but if college will provide hostel facilities and campus requirement drive, then it will better for candidates.
