Remarks

One of the best colleges to study in chennai, would be better if placement cell is imporved and students are given more oppurtunities for employment.

Entrance Preview

I got into this college through Anna University Counselling using my 12th Standard Marks. There is no admission procedure as such, get into the college via Counselling, rest all simple procedure - fill forms, submit certificate proofs and pay fees.

Course Curriculum Overview

One of the good colleges in chennai. Faculties are friendly. Its fun to study in this college. This college is liberal when compared to other colleges.

Internships Opportunities

We have few MNCs coming in like Infosys, Prodapt, CSS, HCL, etc. Packages were around 3L per annum.

Placement Experience

Placements were not that great when compared to other top colleges in the city. But if you are on the top 40% in the college (In Academics with no arrears), you will get a job for sure.

College Events

Culturals and symposiums are conducted grandly, You can enjoy and have fun here. No issues about that. Students from all over the city join in and participate.

Fees and Financial Aid

I have not taken any loans or scholarships. But there asre friends of mine who have received scholarships from the college itself. There are few who studied by taking loans from bank.

Campus Life

College campus though really not very big, it is cool and nice to have fun. The college has a sports village of its own which include 5 cricket ground.athelete track, basketball court, etc. we have a good mixture of boys and girls studying in the college. College labs are reasonably good and importance were given to sports as well. As mentioned earlier culturals and symposiums are grandly celebrated here.

Hostel Facilities

Hostel and mess fees are reasonable. It is mandatory that the day scholars should also take their lunch from college mess. We have two different Mess one for Jain and the other for Non jain. Both are really good and provide a delicious food.

External Expense: Rs.2000 - Rs.4000

Alumni/Alumna

Alumini network is not really that good. We are just connected in facebook thats all.

Overall Good Experience at EEC

Likes

good infrastructure, clean campus and well equipped classrooms and labs.
Faculty members are supportive and explain concepts clearly with practical examples.
Good placement opportunities, career guidance and opportunities to participate in activities.

Dislikes

The workload can be huge sometimes, especially during examinations and project submissions.
some subjects could include more practical and industry-oriented learning
More campus activities and student interactions opportunities would improve campus life.

Placement Experience:

Students can join job drives from the 7th term. Many firms visit the campus for jobs and offer roles in tech and other fields. The pay varies by firm and role. EEC has a good job rate and gives help for job prep. After my degree, I plan to work in the tech field and grow my skills.

Placement Experience:

An average of more than 90% of rhe students were placed during my term. Companies like amazon, juspay, adobe, hcl, cts, tcs, adp etc came and there are 500 companies that visisted our campus during my batch

Sathyabama is value for money

Likes

the classrooms in specialization are air conditioned
faculty is supportive for academic growth

Dislikes

the attendance is strict at 75% and subject attendances upto 80%
you cannot exit campus before 3.15 pm under any circumstances

Placement Experience:

The placements are very decent and they provide internships as early career opportunities as well in 3rd year of studies and the college possess high conversion rates through these internships which support the resume with actual corporate exposure

This is the best college overall

Likes

The curriculum provided is really nice and understandable.
It is relevant and is effective as well.
The boy girl ratio is on the other hand a little less as in 45:15.

Dislikes

The way some facilities behave with students is really bad especially in our branch.
Some facilities are too rude and they often don’t want to listen to students point of view

Placement Experience:

Students are open to campus placements from 2nd year onwards. There are many companies who visit such as Delloite, Accenture, Cognizant, TCS, Amazon, NatWest, Nokia, etc. Highest package offered is 42 lpa and lowest is maybe 2-4lpa. Around 90% of students get placed here. My plans is to get a job through campus recruitment. Currently I got an internship through campus recruitment in Cognizant so the recruitment is quite nice here.

The thing I most liked is the campus the infrastructue
There are a many clubs so it's exciting for people who like other things then studies
The opportunities as well the alumini network

Dislikes

The campus is very crowded there are many people compared to other colleges
The category wise fee structure and the increasing fees
Charges for hostel are little more then others

Placement Experience:

As of my information the placements are pretty decent..first the placements used to take place in Vellore campus but I guess jow they have started here as well ..as of my opinion the placement stars from the 7th semester

I applied only to this college. Because in 2019 is a place in the top 50 Engineering College in Tamil Nadu I applied first in management quota then I applied to counselling. My College

I don't find anything bad about college and the good thing is faculty members and the environment. My college Moto is NO DONATION NO CAPTION FEE this Moto is best and they follow this so that each and every person should get the opportunity to study and come out with all success. Admission process held between May to June. This college I recommend because it has lots of facilities and placement opportunities. In seventh semester itself, placement starts and most the best companies that come under fortune 500 comes to the college for placement more than 30 companies participate for placement and every company select the best out of everyone and now they are living the good life.
