Remarks

Overall the college is good if are thinking for higher education or you have interest in a particular section the only negative thing is campus size and some limitations is using the facility like. But leaving those. the location is perfect for such a city

The course curriculum is based on MAKAUT which is affiliated with AICTE so the syllabus is directed by the university itself. But now our college is turning autonomous and. Changing the syllabus the semester exam papers are totally based on the syllabus prescribed

College Events

I got the course thourough the counseling process best thing about the course is the. Everyone say it is an evergreen branch but yes finding a good job in this field is tough Our course is good just the thing which is required to be modified is the study style machines are not theoritical only. Practical should be given more importance Our official tech fest is Dasksh and cultural fest is eclecia which is one of the biggest fest in Kolkata campus surrounding is good easy to reach. Everything is available within 2 Kms and for extra curricular activities there are many clubs for dance, drama music social services etc

Fee Structure And Facilities

Fee is less with comparison to other pricay colleges and is around 4 lakhs for the entire course excluding hostel charges and the hostel fee is around 6k per month and semester fee is around 47k-48k which increases to 50k-51k in last semester

Fees and Financial Aid

Loans are available thourough PNB bank and scholarship are given on certain criteria physical disabilities and religioy are basis for some fee exemption and other high educational qualification or achievement also lead to scholarship

Campus Life

We have large classrooms, WiFi is there in the campus, 250+ sitting capacity library, then in sports section we have basketball court, cricket ground football ground, track events field, tennis court etc, great canteen with varieties of food at genuine price, medical facilities, no boys hostel only girl hostel with all facilities

Alumni/Alumna

Yes there is a page or society called Alma meter where all the alumini connect and. Help us and guide us every year they visit the campus but it is ask for the function of such society there are kind of inactive

I got admitted to the college thourough my WBJEE rank. After the entrance exam I got mechanical engineering dept.from the counseling process.I didn't planned for any specific branch like CSE or It. Every branch is good it all matter what is your interest or how you develop interest

New in the field of teaching but with a good background and the quality depends on the faculty, the curriculum is based on MAKAUT but since our college is autonomous we have modification in the syllabus, yes it makes the students industry ready

Supportive Faculty - The professors are highly qualified, approachable and always willing to help students
Free wifi support - There are free wifi support for both student and faculty
Fee Structure - It is very affordable and low compared to other colleges in the region

Dislikes

Placement support is below average, and most studnets have to apply for off campus jobs independently, which is really pathetic in the era of ai where getting a job as a fresher is so difficult
There is no dedicated support or placment cell initiative to help studnets land meaningful summer internships or any kind of internships

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible for campus placements starting from the 7th semester. For placement drives, we have to visit the main campus, Techno Main Salt Lake (TMSL). Since students from other Techno India campuses and branches also participate, the competition is extremely high. In the 2025–2026 academic year, fewer companies visited. Only two companies, Dronahost and WishCare, visited our specific campus directly. The remaining drives—mostly service-based companies like TCS and EY, along with a few startups—were conducted at the main campus. The remaining drives mostly service based companies like TCS, EY etc and quite a few startups has visited to main campus. The package they offered mostly in between 3.5lpa - 6 lpa. Furthermore the selection process of those startups is quite rigorous often consisting of upto 5 rounds of interview, two technical rounds with two technical interviews, and HR round My plans after getting the degree is either pursue an MBA or preparing for govt jobs

I liked the campus . Their people and faculties are too great , they are also helpfull
The other thing i liked here is the play ground where students play with full of their energy and many game events are organised ocationally
The other thing i liked is the library where everyone use to study silently with poking others

Bad benches , like benches are too small to be fitted in our class I

The faculty are well taught and the campus is very beautiful . The buildings are like newly bulid . and the campus is very clean.
In our branch the boys and girls ratio is almost 16:11.
The senior behave like a friend and they help us a lot and they also very supportive.

Dislikes

The college campus is too small compare to other colleges.
The college classes are not regularly held and the attendance system is not very good.
The classes are very boing and sometime it feels like aa school and the labs are not held timely.

Placement Experience:

our college average package is 600000 per Anum and highest package is 1800000 per Anum according to recent data. and 80% of student got placed . And wipro , windows, tcs , siemens , tata like companies come to our college for placement. Core students are also got placed but many of them goes for hihger studies.

Likes

Ragging free campus. Strict action are taken against those who found guilty.
Classrooms are well equipped and are spacious.
There are many fun events that happen in the college

Dislikes

The campus area is too small. The library is not good
The societies are fully controlled by students so huge partiality goes on.
Some of the teachers are mean and are not good.

Placement Experience:

From the 3rd year onwards , students become eligible for internships and stepping in 4th yr , students get eligible for campus placement. Techno provides decent campus placements according to your marks. Good marks also with skills get you better salary. Minimum 7.5 cgpa is mandatory to have you sit for campus placements. The lowest package is 3.4 LPA and highest vary but students also get 14LPA easily. Wipro, tcs ,cap ,gemini, amazon , ibm etc.

The campus is big and full of greenery with the vibrant feel of nature.
The students of the same batch are friendly and helpful.
The teacher's are friendly and helpful. They do provide helpful recommendations for the betterment of your future.

Dislikes

The seniors are overly harsh when it comes to 1st year.
The infrastructure could be worked on. The college lacks renovation.
The hostel does require everyday cleaning and renovation as well as the campus.

Placement Experience:

I don't know much about this but I guess from the sixth semester the students are eligible for campus placements. This year a student from AEIE got a package of 11.2 lacs per annum and the average is around 4 lacs per annum.

Time Management-the one thing that I disliked was their time management.They dont provide a proper shedule for exams,routines etc

Plans after getting the degree: My plans depends on placement.If I get a job of around 15 LPA then I will not do master degree and if I get job of around 4-5 LPA then I will do master for further great opportunities

Highest package offered by TCS 9-10lpa and Cognizant 6-7lpa wipro 6-7lpa infosys 10lpa etc. 60-70% student getting placement I will go for placement
