Our college is, I guess the best college to explore yourself and finding your real passion. I am enjoying my college life so far. And honestly telling I am slightly distracted from my stufies. Overall you will enjoy.
Course Curriculum Overview
On the focus of research Civil Engineering is not as good as compared to computer fields but it in itself is a very good course. One can build a very good career in this course if he/she wants to do so.
Placement Experience
If we talk of placements and job and it is one of the ranked colleges of India in providing students a very good placement offer in every course.Our college also provides internships in I guess 3rd year or above.
Fee Structure And Facilities
The fee structure is around 170000 per year (for 1st year) for my course (B.TECH) and every year the annual fees is increased by approx 20000. So till 4th year. The annual fee reaches approx 250000. I think its a little bit expensive.
Fees and Financial Aid
Yes, there as far as I know there is a good scholarship offer especially for the financially poor students. They have to show a certificate prooving there family invome to be lower than a fixed figure.
Campus Life
The gender ratio is as same as any other engineering college. The labs are also good, well maintained, and all possible tools, chemicals and instruments are available. If you talk of sports then there is different space for almost every sports from table tennis to athletics. There is also gym in our sports complex as well as in the hostels.
Alumni/Alumna
Ya a first year fresher always needs a support from the experienced one (the senior) which is always provided in our college. In fact we all are friends. From giving us the campus tour to helping us in the exams they are always available for us.
Admission
Actually admission in my college is on the basis of the rank secured in one of the most famous exam JEE MAINS (for indian students). I chose this course because I wanted to go forward in the technical field.
Faculty
Honestly speaking, the faculty of our college is average because some old age professors are rude and also not that much effective in making things understood the other hand some young teachers can fulfill it well. Overall the faculty is good.
