Remarks

It can't be compared to well established colleges such as nits but its good in its range.and i can say its better than most of the private colleges.

Course Curriculum Overview

3.5

We have some useless courses (outdated) such as digital and analog electronics.i think these are not at all usefull for cse students.we have also got some useful courses too, exam structure is written type discriptive

Placement Experience

yes our college has placements and job oppurtunities.this year our seniors got 100% interned somewhere.most paid intern was 40000 per month and up to date highest package was 20 lpa.samsung, tcs, etc. I think its pretty enough to be confident.

College Events

2.5

1-tantra fiesta(tecnical fest) It is the only technical fest in our college.they are pretty big.many technical competetions takes place, such as electrogiest for electronics students, coding competition, robotics, and many technical events.there were a total of 17 competitions.participants were from all over india(coding competetion) and all others were from nagpur itself. 2-abhivyakti(cultural fest) It happens in big scale.cultural competetions will be held.participants came from outside of our college.

Fee Structure And Facilities

90000 per semester and also extra 22500 fee for other benefits.per year it would be a total of 2, 25, 000. I think its very expensive and i don't receive any scholarship.

Fees and Financial Aid

I didn't get any scholarship or loan offered by my college.but we have availability of loans as many of my friends got sanctioned loan.

Campus Life

Labs are not that good. electeonics lab contains faulty equipment.but computer lab is good but it doesn't have an ac.coming to sports we hve got a worst sports trainer, he doesn't know how to play any sport.a roumer is sprwad that his job is recommended by our director.we have teams and any one facluty will be heads of the teams such as sexual organisation and greviance committe.etc

Hostel Facilities

2.5

Worst hostel ever.no individual bathourooms. 3 bathourooms for 30 people.no proper windows. Open drainage beside hostel.no proper ground. Water scarcity on hostel very frequently. No proper cupboards.

External Expense: Rs.2000 - Rs.4000

Alumni/Alumna

Admission

I aquired a rank of 10000 in jee in obc category and thourough josaa counselling i got admission in iiit nagpur as I was interested in computers i took admission in cse branch, admission process was very simple and totally online.

Faculty

3.5

our faculty is interested to teach electronics to cse students i don't know why.we have some excellent faculty and some worst faculty.hod is not good and not interested in our careers.though our faculties are well qualified

My perspective about my college!!

Likes

Such a huge campus and it is located not far from the city so bus and autos are always available.
Our canteens serves Misal Pav which is next level.
For a city like Amravati and a college like ours, having a tech fest is a dream but since 2022, we have been hosting a tech event called Techlons.

Dislikes

Crowd is not that amazing as most students are non-serious over here.

Placement Experience:

TCS trains us in the third year and L&T Infotech and TCS are the ones who hired students. Almost half the students were taken by these two companies with an annual salary of 6 lakhs or so. For a freshers to work in such companies is a privilege and I am glad, we get this opportunity at our college.

A Brief Theory Round Of Aissms College Of Engineering

Likes

The campus is quite big and there are proper laboratories for every subject , also the faculty is quite helpful and helps student to settle up and get along so that the teaching and doubt interaction is built up from the starting
We have metro station right outside the gate of college so the travelling is quite simple
It's also good to have a college stationary right inside the campus and with discount too!

Dislikes

The benches are small which kind off makes the students uncomfortable to sit for more than 2 hours in that space
Canteen hygiene is not maintained at all
There's no underground parking for students and lack of space for parking of two wheelers

Placement Experience:

Placements are quite good in Aissms College Of Engineering in comparison to the other one institute of Information technology. I personally have even saw seniors getting placements when they were in placement round room. And looking at all the boards the college has put up and I can definitely says that the college does get placements and companies do come

Likes

Faculty and teaching assistants are so friendly and are with great experience and wisdom.
Other than education many other activities take place like NCC, NSS, sports competitions, inter IIT competitions, etc.,
Ragging, student and gender abuse are strictly banned

Dislikes

sometimes we have to work till midnight for any tech teams, any assignments, etc., if the submission is not done in proper time. But faculty don't keep any pressure or stress on students to do certain tasks

Placement Experience:

Job placements starts from 3rd year 2 nd semester or 4th year 1st semester. Many Multi National Companies, like Amazon, Google, Sony, etc.,, come to hire students. Almost 70 % of the students get jobs. Atfer completing graduation, few people begin their startups and other businesses with the knowledge gained in the university.
