The best college in Andhoura Pradesh. You will get good patient exposure what a doctor just needs while his graduation and post graduation. Professors supports you a lot and stands next you in any situation.
Course Curriculum Overview :
It's 9 to 4 college yes it's hectic because it is MBBS. Morning hospital postings followed by classes and practicals some times. 1 year compulsory rotary internship was very hectic because of patient load.
Placement Experience :
The college provides internship for those who completed final MBBS. Stipend will be around 10000 per month. Job opportunities are good after finishing graduation from this college. This colleges brand is enough. And most of the people get thourough post graduation after getting out from this college.
College Events :
College day, Freshers day, sports day every year. Conference and Clinical meetings and quiz competitions takes place regularly. Graduation day for the outgoing batch every year in month of march followed by Farewell evening.
Fee Structure And Facilities :
As it is a government college fee is 10000 per annum and hostel fee will be around 2000 per month. If your family income is below 1 lakh per annum the fee will be reimbursed along with extra scholarship around 7000 per year. If you perform well in exams extra incentives will be given thourough GMCANA.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
Scolorship by state government and GMCANA. From GMCANA based on your scores in exams and entrance test. And from state government every year if your family income is below 1 lakh. And the whole fee will be reimbursed if your family income is below 1 lakh.
Campus Life :
Regular cultural evenings, fashion shows, annual sports meet, singing and dancing competitions. Colleges fest's and college day Evenings. Teachers day, Freshers day celebrations. Quiz competitions
Hostel Facilities :
2000 total per month which includes food room and everything. sports ground both indoor and outdoor door are available. 24x7 water, electricity and security. Reading rooms and library available 24x7.

GMCANA is alumni of Guntur medical college they support merit students and poor students. They even support college and hospital thourough contributions. They build a auditorium and emergency block for the hospital and college. The immediate seniors are also good in helping in academic and all other things.
Admission :
Thourough entrance test. Top ranks get into this college. Depending upon test results there will be counseling for all the colleges in Andhoura Pradesh. You will be allotted with seat depending upon your rank.
Faculty :
Awsome faculty. They will teach you everything in detail. Especially post graduation students during rounds. And very experienced professors in each department. They were friendly and supports you all the time.

The language barrier has been a great problem, if your a not a regional student it will be a nightmare for your life, the college will. Keep finding ways to extract money from students, every building is old here, the food will give you diarrhoea every other day

I have completed my MBBS from Andhra Medical College. I have enjoyed my study and learned a lot as well. The faculty was helpful and I haven't faced any big issue while studying. College is having its separate gym, medical department and hostel which is quite good. The up to date labs were also useful in my study.
Remarks :
Every college will have some positive points as well as negative points. First the negative points are 1. The students need to be proactive in everything as there will be no 24hrs special care although this is being overcomed by Mentor system 2. The infrastructure for the 1st years is not so good Coming to the positive points there are so many to describe 1. The clinical exposure of student will be great as the Andhra medical college being the number 1 in Andhra Pradesh and number 10 in India there will enormous patient load with different cases to learn. 2. The teaching faculty is of top class Excetra.

I don't say the best college but really the best part of student life where u get to learn new frnds some find life partner and many more trips with friends and those memories each and everything is like dream come true.

The College is affiliated to the international body, Medical Board of Recognition, California to provide global exposure to the students and ensure better growth prospects for training and placements. We had 100 percent placements each year. Major companies : 1) Care Hospital 2) Vasan Eye care 3) Mylon Pharmaceutical 4) Redox Laboratories Pvt. Ltd.
Course Curriculum Overview :
The course was too lengthy and descriptive and it was very detailed. There was a lot of focus on practical learning from 2nd year onwards.
