Remarks
Our curriculum is none productive with it comes to academics. I really appreciate the training and placement activities and their efforts to get the students motivated and independent. I wish there was more awareness regarding coding.
Course Curriculum Overview
Curriculum and labs are really good except for the CSE department. The department heads make nonproductive decisions when it comes to curriculum planning and excecution. They make us to write a lot of unnecessary model papers,instead they would conduct more tests.
Placement Experience
Placement Cell is doing it's best to the students. I'm so glad that CMREC is the only campus of CMRGI that provides Smart Interviews and other technical trainings and internships apart from CRT. College also conducts mock tests and interviews for better job recruitment experience of the students.
College Events
We have traditional day followed by freshers and annual day celebrations apart from cultural we also have Technical fests and other events every month in our college.Our college also invites other college students to participate and expand their knowledge.
Fee Structure And Facilities
The structure is very reasonable and in fact very feasible for all the provisions they are making for students to get a good experience and placements. But apart from fee, we have few additional charges which are unofficial.
Fees and Financial Aid
Our College provides scholarships thourough the state government to all the students whose parents earning is less than a lakh annually. It provides a scholarship of 35000 annually with 5000 additional to the student's account.
Campus Life
I'm glad that our college gives equal importance to the co-curriculum and provides no issues on gender ratios, race, religion, sexual orientation, economic status, and politics and tolerance with regard to gender.
Hostel Facilities
No, I'm not a Hostel resident but I heard from my hostel friends complaining about the food and hygiene of the CMR hostels for their poor maintenance in the initial days. Later they improved the quality of food and maintenance.
Alumni/Alumna
Yes. We do have an interaction with seniors. This alumni network provides us a great platform. Every year it calls a certain number of students for interactive sessions and talk about their experiences.
Admission
I got admission in CMR Engineering College thourough EAMCET in CSE.The admission process was really very easy going. Before the process, we had an overview of the campus and it's details, after looking thourough all the factors. I decided to join.
Faculty
They are a group of faculty who are really amazing to get mentored by, having vast knowledge and great experience. But it's not always that the batch obtains a good faculty with great teaching experience.
