Ebad Mukadam's Review On KIT's College Of Engineering, Kolhapur

On whole our College is pretty much at excellence in academics, sports and cultural opportunities. NAAC accredition has given an A grade to our college it is has very healthy environment for students as well as faculty for studying as well as fun life. Canteens are good and campus is 18 acre with beautiful infra structure and hence KIT's College of Engineering is named the Best of Shivaji University.

CET 120 AIEEE 91 because i had interest in mechanical engineering and KIT was the best in shivaji university.

We had thermal subjects like applied thermodynamics, fluid mechanics, Fluid and turbo Machinery, Heat and Mass transfer and finally Refrigerationand Air conditioning. Also design Subjects like machine drawing, machine design 1&2 , theory of machines 1&2, Product Design, Mechanical System Design etc. Management subjects like total quality management ,operation research, quality control,industrial management.

Internship has been very helpful as it provides direct interaction with the industries and college being respected the interns also are being treated well.stipend was less for starters but were paid time to time.

The main annual fest called jallosh is celebrated every year with full enthusiasm and sets benchmark every year with creative Ideas national level event pioneer for paper presentation is organised every year also TEDX and abhigyaan commity is formed for others events for direct interactions with dignitaries.

The fee structure is pretty much feasible it avails best education in a reasonable fee structure with also optional scholarship facilities and reservations according to class and standards.

Yes E.B.C scholarships caste Scholarships are availed in our college loans however must be taken privately if needed college doesnt avail with those service.

Campus life is pretty much funstudents are co operative so is the environment clean, tidy and healthy since the college on a hill it has great aesthetic value gender ratio is equalhostel parties are made once a semester college is higjly tolerant and there is no discrimination like religion race ethnicity as such being involved in college politics helps to maintain a profile in all one can experience a wonderful college experience along with better facilties for academics as well as inter college sports and college fests.

I stay as a paying guest in the city however have heard that college hostel fees is about 14000 per year and mess food is about 1500 per month food is moderate in taste but hygenic.

Alumni network is wide spread and very co operative as well as helpful since they have been succesful on their ownseniors are kindan anti ragging bond paper form is filled by every student every year.

No the exams are not that frequent every thing is properly scheduled practicals as well as lectures there are long preparation leaves given for examination and that there is a 2 or 1 day holiday between each subject exam.

Faculty was well Experienced and masters in their subject of work professor S.N. Mane has been our head of department being excellent in metallurgy and manufacturing processes. Other experienced stafflike Prof N.V. deshpande, P.B .Mutalik, Shivling Pise have been pretty helpful.
