Everything here is practical oriented in my course. Really learning a lot. Practical classes are good. Photography classes. Script writings. Many events. Department functions. Sports participation. Extra curricular activities. Hostel facilities.

Placement Experience

Yeah internships and placement programs and trainings are very good in our course and college. Its really good to have these things in common with the super educational system. Students are well benefited by this program and support.

PSG College of Arts and Science was started in 1947 by the PSG and Sons Charities which was founded in 1926 by the four sons of P.S. Govindasamy Naidu. The college was affiliated to Madras University till 1978. The college became autonomous and affiliated to Bharathiar University since 1978. It is one of the first Arts and Science college in Tamil Nadu to get the autonomous status. The college was identified as a College with Potential for Excellence by University Grants Commission (India) in October 2004. It is one among 47 colleges in the country, 8 in the State and the only one in Bharathiar University. The college has been accredited at the FIVE STAR level by National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC) and became an ISO 9001: 1994 certified institution in 2001 and subsequently an ISO 9001: 2000 certified institution since 2003.

Yeah but its full and i can't join in the hostel Hostel days are memorable one But i dint get that Anyways Its quite good in day scholar itself Happy with everything Good life Good college Good Google.

I always wanted to join this college since its the famous one for my course. And of course i love it. Admission structure is very transparent. If you score good marks in your board exam. Then it'll be a easy task to get admission here. But even if you scored less don't worry.

Faculty

There are many staffs and lectures are there here in our course and we are very proud of our management and the most advanced online education program that we have experienced in the past and now are the best ways to get a better understanding and learning.

There are many courses including post graduation.
Faculties are well expertise and has good mentorship quality
The fees are affordable to pay for the course I have selected

Dislikes

Need to improve the infrastructure of the college
Crowded canteen it would be better if we have one more
There is some hygienic issues in the washrooms could be better if it is hygiene

THE IDEAL COLLEGE LIFE!

Likes

The opportunities to meet new people and interact with a whole new circle of people by Club Activities as there are quite a lot of clubs according to the student's interest.
Many places to showcase our singing and dancing talent once we join the club or take part in any of the department events.
They have multiple labs for a single department so that the students get a lot of hands on training for coding and as well as hardware.

Dislikes

4:3 Ratio of Girls to Boys in my class and i hope it's the same for all the departments as well.
The college timing can go from 8:30 AM to 5:10PM.
The 75% attendance is kind of doable and maintainable to an extent.

Placement Experience:

about 70 to 80 percent of the students get placed afdter the colleg and the ones not placed also gets placed after the college with high network and communication from other contacts within the college, ZOHO Corp does take placements and i am preparing for my CAT exams as i am planning for My highers at IIM, 5th semester is when the students become eligible for the campus placements and the seniors are a good connection who help to get places and get a job after the completion of degree.

Hostel , mess food and mess hall , no facilities for marine practical

Teaching methods of marine faculties are excellent but in my course they add some additional subject like tamil and hindi which are useless and no neede for a mariner as the marine faculties are good in teaching and explaining but they also having difficulty in teaching as the requirements didn't meet from the college management

III got seats in rathinam, government college, Hindustan and psgcas. But I'm interested in statistics so i joined here hence its the only college in coimbatore has bsc statistics course. My college dairy

I firstly and foremost preference is PSG College which I'm currently pursuing my bachelor's degree and I applied 4 more colleges but I got mail from this college only. Compare to other colleges I like PSG more because the first reason is it located in Coimbatore the city is cool and best.
