Remarks
Overall my college-infrastructure-faculty they are good, if my college can timely update the students in their portals and teach us with much more practical skills the outcome would be better. They are just making us to practice on the years back tech. But not current trends and tech we want that to be implemented by all the colleges.
Course Curriculum Overview
The Curriculum was good to be frank,as everyone thinks that btech leads to gain practical knowledge, but here only sometimes it is,not all the time, there are labs but gaining of knowledge was. Unknown. Just for the sake of doing it we were doing.
Placement Experience
Just simple think placement, think cmr.my seniors got pretty good packages upto 10LPA but the thing is we never got chance to have interaction with them.like for the whole cse branch they keep meeting(interactive session with seniors) why not they call them to the every class.
College Events
Cmr is known for events Technical, Cultural, Management Festivals and much more they are conducted all the time with studies as their first priority, as our chair person mr. Mallareddy encourages so.
Fee Structure And Facilities
For students who get admission thourough entrance exams, state board entrance for engineering. Their fee is feasible but when it comes to managment(its almost same for rest of the colleges) they are expensive.
Fees and Financial Aid
Students get upto 35k scholarships per anum from the government for the cast of BC AND OBC, Regarding loans i never heard my college offers loan facilities after 35k scholarship the fee comes down to just 15k or near equivalent.
Campus Life
The labs they are very good i mean the infrastructure is very good. We had sports period but for like out of 10 periods we roughly used to get like 2 or 3. There are many types of peoples out there. Regardless numerous workshops conducted by the institution. They should be self estimating which is good and which isn't.
Hostel Facilities
Not applicable for me but what i have seen with my friends is they are just average the food everywhere outside except home is okok the rentals could have been less as the hostel students dont use much electricity, water, and other resources as households.
Alumni/Alumna
Yes, alumni meet is conducted the seniors do come and refresh they memories. A few whom we know they interact with us others don't. Like the college have the full day schedule for this. Just not by entertaining them, they can extend the program by interactive sessions with seniors. After that they can enjoy themselves. As they are helpfull.
Admission
I was interested in Computers so took CSE course. Else i would have done CA but my first priority was to be an engineer so i choose B.TECH. Got admission in cmr engineering college, in management quota.
Faculty
The faculty are really good, but when there is complexity they just skip the topics. They are good in the academics but apart from academics they sometimes answer our queries and sometimes dont, anyways we have Google for everything right.
