Remarks

Not a good college. Really. No sports facility, no competitions organized, no social life, no function, no youth festival, no dancing club, just study and that's also theories no practical knowledge.

Course Curriculum Overview

1.5

Course curriculum is outdated. They don't change syllabus accordingly to the changing technology and we have to study the outdated technology. Exams structure is good. They have changed alot in Exam Structure.

Placement Experience

0.5

Placement is not so good in our college. We have to go to GNDU main campus for placements and they prefer their own students rather than us. They don't have placements opportunity for their students and then how can we think about internship provided by our college.

College Events

0.5

Technical Fest-A 3 day fest in which students participate to show their technical skills and to participate in coding competitions and win cash prizes. This fest is not so big. Sports Event- A 3 day Event for students to show their sport skills.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Feasible - The fee structure is good and also provide fees concession for poor students. They also provide Poor Aided Fund for poor students. Fees is relatively good in comparison to other colleges.

Fees and Financial Aid

They provide Fees Concession facility for poor students. But they only provide 10% of total students in class. They also provide Poor Aided Fund for poor students. But they give these facilities to randomly anybody and actually poor student is left behind.

Campus Life

1.5

Sports are bad. Labs are bad. They just teaching theories all time and that's it. No sports no labs. They teach only theories all the time. No Labs. If labs are given the they just teach small and waste most of the time.

Alumni/Alumna

Alumni network is not so good. They don't organize any event for alumni so they could come and interact with juniors. We don't know where they are what they are doing. Seniors are good at least for me.

Admission

They select students thourough JEE Mains Ranking and also consider 12th percentage. But focus is given mostly to JEE Mains Ranking and those who don't get admission in GNDU is given seats to regional campus as happens to me.

Faculty

1.5

Faculty in my college is much educated. Most of them have PhD. But those who don't have PhD teach much better than those having PhD. Faculty is good but mostly teach only by showing PPT. Practical teaching is much less.

Placement Experience:

Companies start coming summer internships in the 5th and 6th semester though ,CG cuts are imposed so very less students are elgible to sit for these companies, The real placement season is 7th and 8th semester and many companies visit campus for placements. around 60 percent students got placed in the recent placement drive. The major recruiters are: Oracle, CISCO, JPMC,Deloite,IBM,ZS etc.

Placement Experience:

Students generally become eligible for placement from 7th semester, with numerous major companies like wipro, cognizant and various tech startups visit the campus with various offers. The university sees a high percentage of students getting placed. The package are widely depending on various skill and codes. Furthermore while the highest package looks impressive on paper, the avg package remains modest for the majority of the batch. My personal plans after getting the degree focus on exploring independent entrepreneurial ventures rather than tradition corporate placement.

Placement Experience:

Placements are not that good. Although companies come, there is a lack of mass recruiters or reputed organizations. One has to grind hard here for placements. If you're a CS student, you will have to face immense competition here. As for core branches, placements are severely dry. Students gets eligible in 4th year onwards for placements. Some of recruiters here are Trident, TCS, Reliance, Sonalika and other few. Every company offers around 10-15 selected students for a job. Highest package ever was 15LPA and average is 3.2LPA. Percentage placed is only around 15% here. My plans after the degree are to apply for govt exams.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The interest in coding influenced me to choose this subject and course. The curriculum gets me ready for a 9-5 job which kind of gets hectic. The teachers could maybe schedule classes to give the students time to study what they want to and if they wish to do a course outside the university they have the time to do so rather than just going by the university curriculum
