This college is fabulous as I imagined.i think these four years of my deegree will be the best four years of my life.
There are two mid semester exams are taken for the internals and final exams are taken once in a semester and the experience of mid semester exams helps us to score better in final exams and there are also industrial visits starting from second year to gain industrial knowledge which will help a lot in future.
Placements starts from third year onwards and the minimum package starts from 3 lakhs annually and special type of training is given to the students for the interviews to place in a better company
There is technical festival every year and talent hunt on the freshers entry and also some inter College competitions are held here and there is participation of thousands of students from another colleges and there also prize money is distributed to the winning and runner up teams.
It's little bit expensive according to my point of view and as per my financial conditions and the mode of payment for fee is chalan and for the exams fee that can be paid online directly to the Punjab technical University and there is extra charges for NRI seats only in first year and there is concession in hostel fees as per rank in jee

No because it is far about 2 or 3 kilometres from my home hostel rooms re about 16×16 and there is space for two students and there are about 200 rooms are provided for under graduate block for boys and there 300 rooms for girls in under graduate.
Ragging is banned here and if any student is caught in this case he or she will be suspended from the college and hit fined also. Our seniors are so good in behave with us they helps us in our exam preparation and tells about their experiences and helps us to motivate to sit in interviews.
I got admission in this college by getting 85% marks in board exams and my jee rank.i opted this course to become a software engineer and wanted to be placed in a good company for a good package and the companies come here for the placements are the best one with great packages.
Faculty members are so helpful especially the Dean sir and also all the administration office members and teachers are also very helpful for us and they take extra classes in exam days to score better in final exams and there are also organisations of some technical competitions which enhances our technical skills
From the 3rd semester, you are eligible for an internship. TCS, Infosys, Samsung etc are available here but if are taking admission here you should mainly focus on exams like gate etc. average package is 20k per month and the max is 1 lakh so it's not good. 50% are getting placed every year but mainly students are focused on sports or government exams. I want to run my startup but the primary focus is on gate exam and skill development.
Placement rates are very good highest placement provided was of 42 lpa and 39 lpa. Generally, 89% of students get placed from this branch. The number of students is fairly high in each branch but then also the university doesn't disappoint in providing placement to a maximum number of students.
Placement is average, I think every year 35-45% of students are getting placed. From last year or 7-8 semesters, students become eligible for campus placement. Every company has its own academic cutoff results to attend their exam. Companies like Mahindra, Infosys, Patanjali, Microsoft are many more little companies are visited campus every year. The highest package in mechanical got 4 lakh and average is about 2 -3 lakh. After completing B.E if I did not get campus placement then try my best to qualify for GATE and I also go for general competition.
More than 90 percent of students get placed in Computer Science and Engineering. The average package is above 12 lakhs per student. IIT ROPAR is ranked 25 in engineering institutes ranking by NIRF. Overall 80 percent or more students get placed per year. I am planning for research after MTech in Mechanical Engineering.
It's a government university and it was the only government institute where I could get B. Tech(CSE) with 69 JEE score. I wished to pursue Computer Sciences only. I had options of some private institutes but I opted for the government one.
Although it was privately funded institution, Khalsa engineering college provided best facilities for students to nurture their talents and obtain requisite skills for progressing ahead in life. We owe it to them. If anything can be improved it is the placement opportunities and hostel facilities that need a bit of touch.
The bad thing about my college is that the college is situated to far from tha main place.sp transport ficilty is not good other wise the college is good.
