Remarks
The SACS MAVMM is one of the best colleges, and is affiliated to the Anna University. Apart from good placements, our college has a good infrastructure for labs, sports, auditorium, etc. Students get to enjoy the college's good library facilities, canteens as well as hostel. One can expect a good atmosphere to study as well as develop his skills in a number of ways.
Course Curriculum Overview
The Course has been very thoughtfully curated to grow a deep understanding of the subjects, but both subjective and practical training. The College follows the Course curriculum as approved by Anna University, Chennai. The laboratory infrastructure is quite good. The four year engineering course is divided into eight semesters.
Placement Experience
Placement opportunities in our college is great. Specially, the Computer Science Engineering Department attracts many good companies, and a high percentage of students get placements. However, there is no such internship opportunity provided by our college.
Fee Structure And Facilities
The fees structure is standard for any good engineering college. The fees for each year is Rs. 55,000, and that brings the total fees for the four-year engineering course at Rs. 2,20,000. It cannot be said to be much expensive, considering the facilities and the quality of education that we get, and off course good placement opportunities.
Alumni/Alumna
The seniors in the college are extremely helpful. Not only does the seniors help us in studies, they even shared their interview experience during placements, and explained us how to prepare to crack the interviews. The alumni network of our college are very active really helpful towards the juniors.
Admission
I did my B.E. in Computer Science Engineering, and got admission on the basis of my marks in 10+2 exam. The minimum criteria for getting admission is based on the marks secured in the boards (10+2) exam or any other equivalent exam, which should be at least 45% in Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry combined.
Faculty
All the faculty members were very highly qualified and extremely educated persons. Our HOD was a Doctorate, while most other faculties had master degrees from reputed universities. More than their qualification, the way of teaching was what intrigued us. There was a good combination of theoretical and practical learning.
